2. Budget: Up to 6K
3. Usage: Work, photoshop and light gaming
4. Preferred laptop/screen size: 13 or 14
5. Good to have:
- USB type c
- HDMI
- Backlit keyboard (very important)

I need something that is portable and maybe future proof. I know future proof is impossible but at least something that can lasts me 2-3 years. I'm thinking of XPS 13 but unsure how reliable is it? Anyone else has any recommendation? TIA

Hi all sifus, what is the comment / suggestion on Asus ROG GL552VX-DM044T? The spec is Intel i7-6700HQ/ 4GB DDR4/1TB HDD/ GTX950M, cheapest price I found out is RM3,499, if for normal gaming (not demanding games) is it ok the spec and price? Thanks

Oh btw, this might sound a bit silly but, is there any distinct advantage between a laptop with removable battery and the ones without removable battery? My previous Asus laptop's battery is unremovable(have to send to shop if need be..) and compared to my peers, mine lasted only roughly like 3 years, whereas theirs with removable battery is still going strong, and their battery life is way way more longer than mine....

yeah, i feel so... so where do i start with, lenovo? is HP/Dell okay too?

I am a working as an architect,. I need to use a  laptop for almost everything from work and travel. Gaming is not priority.

For acer im actually eyeing on Aspire 13 and Swift 3. Mostly on Swift 3 as it have i5 and 256GB as Aspire 13 below RM 3K is only available for 128GB. Do you think its a good buy?

RAM, HDD & other specs all the same. I believe Thinkpad is no longer in the market? But for some reason my office supplier listed this in his quote. But if its the Thinkpad...I'm tempted to get the Lenovo then. Quality and design of that device is near perfect to me.

Good day guys , am looking for a laptop with the following specs.
Something that will last long and durable  , excellent display is a must , smooth and fast (as smooth as a mac hopefully), main usage will be for movies , web browsing . Don't mind a 14-15 in display. Budget less than 3K.
Oh and I would prefer to burn MP3 CDs as well.
Ideas ?
