HP omen gaming Laptop

Hello sifus, I am in desperate need of help here. Gonna buy a laptop with restricted budget. I don't have many cash but my laptop is dead and I am need of replacement. Pls help. Any help is truly appreciated

Preferred brand - HP or Dell

Budget - RM2k hard to stretch, but easy to come down

Specs - i5 or i7 equivalent. Discrete graphics card.

Size - doesnt matter

usage - light creative editing (designing and videos) and casual gaming.


So the applications that will be often used are photo and video editing suite such as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Sony Vegas and so on. Plus, light gaming only such as CSGO, Portal etc, graphics setting doesnt matter much.

Hello, everyone. I'm looking for a new laptop. Previous brand is Toshiba.

1. Preferred Brand: Anything but HP.

2. Budget: Below RM3k.

3. Usage:
Student stuffs, researches, Photoshop/Illustrator, movies.

4. Laptop/screen size: 15 inches and above.

5. Prefer if:
- Amazing/good speakers
- Can last for long hours (use it for studying)
- Won't heat up too much/quickly
- i5 and above
- Can multitask and won't lag (Previous laptop lagged when I opened too many tabs + Photoshop)
- Good graphic card

Bonus if it's Toshiba again. I hope I don't narrow it down to nothing. Any help/recommendations is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

for u usage i suggest u increase budget... photoshop better go wif fhd display..n then addon wif ssd.. then sure wont lag

The laptop + printer are for my uncle that are just using it for work such as the above. I doubt he would want to go through all the trouble of activating his Office once in a while, I think ori Ms Office might be better.

Usage: Entertainment, assignments, heavy browsing, sometimes Photoshop, no gaming at all

Best for MAX RM2.8k and good sound for movies/musics (had Asus and don't like the sound much). Good battery life. OK after-sales service cause am a broke college student and can't afford to buy new laptop every 2 years.

Hey guys, my cousin is looking for a laptop. I am using Dell Inspiron 14 7447 and he says its too expensive for him so:

1. Preferred Brand - Any will do
2. Budget - RM1500 to RM1700
3. Usage - Animation student and light gaming (a few steam games)
4. Preferred
-Longer battery life
-Light and easier to carry anywhere
-Perfect for a student
