Too soon to say, but nevertheless the latest list from Motorola USA on what Moto phones will received Android O has prompted me to consider if I should get Moto Z2 Play by year end. This phone appeals to me more than the standard Moto Z.
Currently, I'm using a Moto X Style, which recently got upgraded to Android 7.0. Another community of Moto users on Google+ sounded a pessismistic view that 7.0. may well be the last software upgrade for all phones that debuted in 2015. |

I found that my Moto Z Play now supports QC 3.0 charging (Choetech QC 3.0 Charger). Before 7.1.1 update, it was not working.
