I am using Aukey Quick Charge 3.0 (both desktop and car charger), with USB-C output. Moto Z Play shows "turbo charging".
Didnt know Aukey got Type C output. New product?

cause i have aukey car charger qc3.0 usb to type c (wire from motorola) and no turbocharge appear.
Works fine with my G5, desktop and car. Using 3rd party cable some more. A to C. Maybe your charger kaput already. Try using other phone, see if it works

Like I said in the previous post, this phone does not support QC. And in order to have TurboCharge (or USB-C charging like Nexus 6P or Nexus 5X), you will need a USB-C output charger using USB-C to USB-C cable.
I do not think that his charger is kaput.
FYI, G5 supports QC 3.0, so USB-A to USB-C quick charging does work.

Yeah, I can see your point now. Saw this vid
Still doesn't make sense tho. I wonder what's keeping it from receiving turbo charging rate when the charger port is Type A, instead of Type C. And this just means that new charger in the future. WTF. Just bought Type A 3.0 charger mid this year

After use so many android smartphone from galaxy nexus ,nexus 5, Oneplus one, this is (Moto Z) the best i ever experience, on par with my Nokia N9. Everything is silky smooth. The LTE signal reception ,my goodness is so stable.
Motorola has a known reputation of making very high quality cellular radios. My X Style has very good signal reception too
Android N for moto Z.Excerpt from Author Android central. Android Central by Daniel Bader 12:02 am Yummy Nougat comes to the Great White North.
Android 7.0 Nougat has come to the Moto Z in Canada. Our own device received the update early this morning, and we're getting similar reports from a few people around the internet.
The upside? Some great new features, including inline replies, multi-window support, and new display scaling, which fits more on the Moto Z's QHD display.
There's also Daydream support, which makes the Moto Z the first device outside of Google's own Pixels to support the burgeoning VR platform.
Our own Russell Holly, when evaluating the Nougat update on the Verizon Moto Z, called it "life by a thousand improvements."
Nougat the phone absolutely screams. It's as though every ounce of performance has been squeezed out of the Snapdragon 820 underneath this glass. Some of that is Nougat optimizations and what happens when you fully wipe a phone before installing a major system update, but everything from checking notifications to launching apps is not only faster but noticeably smoother. Nougat's number one feature is polish, and that is plainly evident on the Moto Z.
