if need update need to uninstall magisk = lots of steps need to do

what's the diff between rooting using magisk vs cf auto root?
care to clarify?

magisk root can pass safetynet (main use on those banking apps)
while cf auto root cannot

Sorry for all rhe questions but the last phone i rooted was my xz. My note 4 never rooted cause scared private mode goes missing.

i must say this, after years of usage i still do not find a reason to root this phone. The stock firmware is stable and fast. (played custom firmwares on my S2 few years ago, it was fun but not stable enough as a daily phone imo). This phone is a good phone.

if the firmware is stable then it will be good.
much like it happened on last fw was slow, only after july update that it becomes better.

Batt life more or less the same as before, can't answer you cuz my battery is bloated up long ago.
