directly use odin flash previous version on,.. no need full wipe at all,. all data intact,.. firmware can download from sammmobile

The latest update did make the battery drain very fast. With normal usage, my phone can usually still be at 20% when I got home from work. Now, I have to charge again before I drive home...

Hopefully the next update improves this issue....

just flash back to older stock rom version via Odin,.. can settle your battery issue

It has been quite a while since I last flash any ROM... Last one was with my Note 2 days....

Long holidays are coming... Maybe that is the suitable time to re-learn about flashing.... 😆

I thought after lolipop Samsung added patches that wont allow us to rollback to previous version?

I remember reading this in XDA, it's the bootloader that's preventing users to rollback.

If that's the case, just flash a stock-based rom (packed with stock-based kernel and bootloader) first, then flash again with original firmware with Odin.

i m also facing this problem.. both stock & rooted note 4. both also using new batteries.. now reverted back to previous firmware..

Guys how much is the cost of LCD replacement? Say from Samsung SC vs any store out there?

SC quoted around rm680 (or rm580 which i cant recall) Had my phone inspected due to display issue and confirmed but i defer for fix and had to pay around rm30 for labour charges.

might as well change phone because 2nd hand note 4 selling around rm800 if lucky even lower.

one drawback is if you change the screen from SC, they only give you 1 month warranty, which i think it doesn't justify with the price we paid for the replacement.

i also think tht is better to buy a 2nd hand note 4 thn changing a screen..

My note 4 cannot connect to wifi stremyx at home but ok when using data. When i send to samsung service centre, the technician try to connect with their wifi ok no problem surfing the internet. After one hour checking the phone the technician told me my phone motherboard problem and cost for changing new motherboard is rm755 not include service fee. Anyone having problem connecting with streamyx wifi?

try set your wifi to 20ghz instead of 20/40ghz

Probably dead spot issue. I always face this problem before

1 is it only not detecting your wifi?
2 have you tried reconnecting to your wifi
