I have contacted the officer who handled by VOX case earlier to add on another YOLO card. Let's see when she will reply me.

Meanwhile, does anyone have the application form?

for uob vox, 1st page stated tesco online entitled 5% cb, is that apply for purchase at tesco online but pay during delivery using the plug and pay machine?
*
yep, that's the only method tesco online charges you using plugnplay terminal when they deliver the goods to you.

there are two options to pay using Tesco online....another option is pay online immediate after you confirmed order on Tesco online....
So, I just worry plug and pay do not entitle 5%....

One more question, MPOS means what?
*
i never try pay immediate since i worried my orders could be less or replaced (diff value) upon delivery, so "charge later" is better. else, Tesco need to do refund, which is tedious and long.

MPOS = mobile point of sales

Mean you did try using VOX for Tesco Plug & Pay, and you got the 5% CB?
agreed on the risk for using the pay immediate option....prefer pay upon delivery but need to confirm CB entitlement using VOX first....
*
this, u need to check post #1, i didnt report that.

dig out who reported it and ask for details lor.

This question is not just for cybpsych, and triple c.

Does anyone have information on the MCCs, so that we will know whether to use grocery cashback credit card or online cashback credit card?

MCC for immediate payment on Tesco online: ?

MCC for MPOS brought by Tesco delivery guy: ?
*
some answers buried in closed threads smile.gif

hlb wise: mcc 5411 grocery
mbb ikhwan: mcc 5411 grocery
cimb cr: mcc 5411 grocery (not online) <-- paid immediate and paid later
pbb vs: mcc 5411 grocery (not online)
uob vox: online category

essentially, tesco online is on MCC 5411 Grocery, regardless of payment mode

Actually since there's more benefit, why not just cut the card instead of worrying about paying the monthly fee of RM6?

I'm trying to be nice to the agent for signed up for me, i want to hold the card 3 months, so he can get his commission. but not at the risk of me paying the monthly fee as well.
*
called CS. VOX users will be converted to YOLO, but they cant ascertain when they gonna do it vmad.gif

perhaps can cut ASAP once cashback credited in late Oct, then cut the card before next statement arrives.

If they're converting VOX to YOLO, even though it's uncertain when it will be done, why not hold on to the card a little longer? If we cancel VOX, later we will likely need to put in a fresh application for YOLO. In my opinion it's more troublesome, unless you're looking at signing up as a new cardmember to get free gift?  brows.gif
*
i still need to perform min 1 swipe per statement month laugh.gif laugh.gif

let's see how's the conversion goes.

Should we call to convert to YOLO from VOX ? Or just wait ?
*
i tried yesterday, cant convert on-demand. just wait for replacement. however, they cant even tell WHEN they giving us the YOLO card, so we're still 'forced' to spend something to offset the monthly fee.

cannot convert, but can call and "apply" YOLO  over the phone. CS did it for me, no need fill form no need send IC also. That was how i got my VOX too, just last month, so fast VOX no more CB benefits....

I have maxed out the Sept swipes  (RM1000 on POSONLINE), but i forgot  the CB wont come so fast, sigh.....
so  cannot cancel card in Oct, need wait till get the CB then only cancel VOX .
*
before cut, still need to swipe something to zerorize the cashback.

Should be able to transfer credit balance to another card I suppose.

Btw, I'm a proponent of maintaining the VOX card until final cashback is received. The burden of maintenance will be 1 McD sundae cone with paywave per month  biggrin.gif
*
yup.

need to wait till cashback in October...... and the 0.3% retail cashback on November statement doh.gif

then swipe a small amount to zerorize the cashbacks, then kill off the card.
