QUOTE(fruitie @ Jun 21 2016, 12:09 PM) VOX? Usually will be posted around 20s to end of the month (no fixed date). This month was 18th, getting earlier. 18 just niceAccording to TnC is by 30th of the following month. my first statement date is 18 and the cashback is included in the statement dy QUOTE(best.toaster @ Jun 21 2016, 01:58 PM) the agent who called is too tricky.. at first i thought it was just a call from UOB asking whether I am the legit owner.. then he direct to tell me benefit I entitled.. i was so shocked.. and ask if this is a plan or what.. then only i realized he tried to convince me to subscribe.. QUOTE(fruitie @ Jun 21 2016, 01:58 PM) It was revised last year, not today or recently. yea, i too got the same call yest from a guy, pretty tricky, new way of selling (not like others b4 this)So whatever you seen on website is applicable to you. Not only UOB actually, all the banks will have this kind of credit shield companies attached to them. So reject them next time. but since i had experience dy, i ask - is this an insurance plan, once he answered yes then bye bye dy This post has been edited by alexwsk: Jun 21 2016, 03:26 PM |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jun 21 2016, 04:07 PM) Actually no. CIMB is posted in the same month under unbilled transaction, just that it only appears in next statement. UOB show direct in same statement so I just pay the remaining after deducting the cash back, statement on 18th direct show on statement.. CIMB take few days to appear.. normally after i already settled my full amount of statement... my cimb statement is 28th, normally i pay by 2nd/3rd but still no cash back appear.. UOB cash back better than cimb cash rebate |

My statement date for UOB is mid of the month, so it will not work for my case. |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jun 21 2016, 04:35 PM) Oh ya, I forgot about that part already masuk in statement. don't scare me le... my maybank I pay after the rebate credit into my card then only i pay the balance.. since i gonna freeze this card, no need call bank to transfer the credit balance to my bank acc.. so far check from card is 0.00 outstanding balance.. my cimb so far actively using, so i normally pay in full statement... for what i think is the cash rebate credit like pay partially for me, i pay another to make into full amount. For CIMB, it will only show in your unbilled transactions. So it is different. This post has been edited by best.toaster: Jun 21 2016, 04:42 PM |

No worries, only CIMB will impose. The rest are OK, at least I have tried for Maybank and HLB. |

QUOTE(best.toaster @ Jun 21 2016, 04:48 PM) make your life simpler.you going to keep using the card, right? if yes, pay statement amount. done. dont bother the cashback cuz you will eventually get it in next statement. treat it as "delayed reward" if no, pay whatever outstanding, then cancel the card immediately. |

So far quite satisfied with UOB. Credit card disputes were settled quite easily and fast, and when I called to cancel my Lady's card due to AF, they offered to waive it for another 3 years! Only thing is their call center takes forever to connect...

Hi guys, this month i only collect RM18.84 of cashback instead of RM50 when i spent RM1,000 in the month of May and RM3 cashback, which include paying TNB bill at UOBpayonline and Unifi at TM website as well as buying on taobao.
UOB made any changes to its T&C to exclude TNB or Unifi lately????? |
