Just received SMS from BR on 12 mth 4.38%, min 5k. Looks like the best rate for now.

Also BR invited for Raya Open House.

Sama sama ! Dumped some recently at Affin at 4.5% (last few weeks) before it ended last week.

Then AmBank 2/3 years of 4.6/4.5%. Even 5 years 4.55%.

But as OPR goes up later, the FD rate of >4% likely will recover !

Ya, looks like >4% FD in PIDM banks are gone by now. Have not been actively looking last 10 days.

Yesterday missed out placing FD in either KFH or HL. So Mon or Tues will have to go to BR. Taking out from MBB GIA-i to go for 12 mth FD.

Uplifted 2 MBB GIA-i FD's today. Seems like split into periods of 4% and 3.75% for the interests given.

IBFT to CB acct and used cheque to place FD in BR for 4.38%, with monthly interest.

Tried to cancel the Ko-op card, was told cannot as it will terminate the online acct. Same as for CIMB. Though some other banks allowed bank cards to be cancelled without affecting online acct.

Yes, that is why I wanted to cancel it.

I am referring to the current GIA-i of 3.75% interest. The previous eff rate 4.5% one, yet to see. Have to see the Aug mth payout, any change.

U can opt not to open SA. Get the interest only on maturity add to principal amt.

Check FD cert, bottom left (IND - MTH). The MTH indicate monthly interest.
