The line seems to be recovering.. now either 218.XXX or 219.XXX gives me around the same lacenty.. 218 being abit better..

but I dare say.. I dont have to look for any ip in order to WoW now.. still testing.. but seems everything is fine now.. well at least the best post earthquake event..

*cough*

This is not TM's fault ... Ask your friend to get out of SW or IF...

From Penang, using :

218.208.x.x is still unplayable.
219.95.2x.x or 219.95.23x.x = Playable when soloing, or when there are no large crowds around. I get disconnected even in Goldshire for goodness sakes, when there are a lot of people duelling in front of the inn.

From yesterday till the game was extreme lag, getting 1000~6000ms in game. Don't know what's wrong with streamyx. Don't have the mood to play.

I believe that you cant send too much packets over at once or TMNet will probably throttle your speed. So what i'd normally do is start out in a normal area with hardly any players, slowly increase the number, and at last enter the main cities. I've been getting 250ms with 218.111.xxx.xxx in Barthilas.(Areas with little people). And i still get a yellow bar in cities, hardly red.

Interesting...my game was fine...300-500 range for most of the day..then me and my other half tried playing at the same time...and the connection went pretty much dead like 30 mins ago...sigh

218.111 lagged at 4.30pm. I'm using 219.94 after that and it doesn't lag at all at 1am.

I believe TMNuts is doing some kind of bandwidth limiting at the mo before the cable is fixed. I've been getting smooth Latency 200-500ms all over Outland, but whenever I go into any crowded city, e.g. Honor Hold everything will start lagging and latency will jump to 1k..2k...10k then d/c every times. So it's like when u go into crowded area the server is sending you a lot of data to draw at the client side (many toons appears at once), because of the limited bandwidth, packet loss and u d/c. Same as multiple people using same connection to play....it lags and d/c, all due to the bandwidth limiting.

Experience with playing my BE pally:

Random questing seems to be fine. Went from Ghostlands > Silverpine > Barrens and had no problems at all. Ping was a constant 300-700 ms. The only problem, the second I step foot into ANY city, the lag goes through the roof sleep.gif Couldn't even do RFC so I think it may apply to instances as well. Anyone else experience something similar?

Yeah...same with me too, playing as Human race, I will try to avoid entering Stromwind City, the ping will sky rocket to above 10k.

I am a new player, I am wondering is this problem only happen recently after the quake?
