What's the owners feedback so far? Is the finishing up to a high standard?

Warning / Disclaimer: This is a very long essay if you care to read, good for you. I understand everyone has gone through hard times especially during mco. KP has known to be renowned reputatation developer in most recent projects dated 2024 but I beg to differ, don't be blinded by all the media news. I am a buyer for Bloomsvale (Menara Vista Petaling), I am truly disappointed with the whole developer organisation from top to bottom. From signing the SPA back at 2021, I was promised by the sales team at the gallery by their management staff themselves that my unit will be changed to tiles instead of the default timber flooring (their so called engineered wooden flooring, to me its just parquet pieces no matter the size). Some corresponse via email was made back then but it took them weeks to reply a simple query email and i find this irresponsible. Their ultimatum was to slap me with an engineered certificate stating that it was not possible to change because the item was done, but come on we are not stupid, we still know how to read english and the item was not certified done. Upon receiving that certificate I demanded for futher explanation, but I were ignored and no further replies even it has escalated to their higher management. This is just another level of being irresponsible in my humble opinion. In January 2024, I received a VP letter and my bank loan were automatically disburse. To my understanding, I am suppose to receive key for my VP per stated in the SPA. I was told to pay 4 months maintenance fee upfront as well, but this so called VP process was then verbally said as "first viewing". If I do not pay, I am not entitled a slot for first viewing. I then paid and arranged a slot for first viewing. To my surpise, during the first viewing, there are plenty of defects, uncomplete work and I am not allowed to keep the key. How is this called VP and they can disburse full loan without giving us the keys? This is a breach of SPA and could someone with legal expertise clarify on this? I find this overboard because we, the owners have to do QC work for the developer. I wouldn't blame them if the loan were not disburse and still in progress of work. Instead, in order to save themselves from getting penalty of LAD, we owners have to pay full loan and wait for their furnish. This misconduct is simply unacceptable. When we owners were convinced to buy, the showroom promotes and potraits a luxury lifestyle condo, but what we actually get is poor workmanship, damaged kitchen counter tops, kitchen cabinet full of scrathes even it is new, faulty lights and aircond switches, missing screws on shower glass panel, damaged door frames, faceplate a switches not mounted properly, aircond not wired yet, cheap furniture were used, scratches all over their so called robust engineered wooden flooring, sloppy paintworks and also very cheap electrical appliances. This far out more than misleading and to the extend of cheating buyers. How can this kind of project were approve of CCC to get their buyers into VP with this kind of quality? Where is the professionalism of work ethics here? There are plenty more unaddressed issues that were ignore by the developer, they refuse to communicated and we buyers were brushed away. They even hide and took down all the negative but true feedback comments of home owners from their google maps review on the same day. Are they saying they know their mistake and choose to ignore or hide? hahahaha... fellow homeowners will understand what i am saying, oh well... IAmYourFather, @secret@, and 1 other liked this post

QUOTE(CarrotBoy @ Apr 2 2024, 02:22 AM) Warning / Disclaimer: This is a very long essay if you care to read, good for you. It’s so brave of you to be so honest about your own development. Many owners won’t speak up publicly as it affects the perception of their investment and this one wasn’t a cheap one and marketed as quite high end. I hope that the product is fit for your purpose soon. This is a big reason why I don’t trust fully furnished packages.I understand everyone has gone through hard times especially during mco. Check with other owner in your owner group chat, see most of the units have same issue or only yours. If most of the owner is satisfied with unit then yours's are the unlucky unit that happened at most new condo. about the balance VP drawdown, its weird before VP and they able to claim it, you might want to check with the lawyer.I understand everyone has gone through hard times especially during mco. Facilities not completed but handover liao. Nevertheless, at a glance, looks promising. Branded hotel (Courtyard by Marriott), office tower, neighbourhood shopping mall with decent tenants, and an ultra cool event space for the 66-storey roof top.
Theatre also win liao (passed on the size and the fittings, but it's in progress, unfortunately), the biggest for a residential condo? |

QUOTE(macbookpro88 @ May 26 2024, 10:48 PM) Could be very localized to only a handful of units. Nevertheless, when it comes to defects in the unit, if not major, I won't mention much. Defects are part and parcel of a newly VP-ed project. There's processes to handle it and to get it fix. More worried about fundamental issues, such as outright poor design, cramp walkways, poor traffic flow within the carpark...basically, things that can't be easily fix.All in all, certainly looks decent and good to me.
