My ex-boss wife is the head of subang medical center.
He advise use only specialist for delivery. Lucky I take his advise. If not, I will not have my daughter deliver safety. This post has been edited by toughguy: May 24 2016, 03:03 PM |

QUOTE(LavenderLim @ May 24 2016, 02:56 PM) Thanks for your replied. i suggest you go HUKM use specialist but rent gomen facilities. And that will give you a specialist doc to take care of you with half of specialist price spent in totalI had my checking at Sg Long Hospital for twice, thats why i know the different, and it quite a big different. And, for Klinik Kesihatan is follow current resident address, because after delivered the nurse will visit baby and mom. HUKM have two diffent section, one is goverment, just RM200 for general delivery, if private section will be from RM2500 above (but only room and service after delivery is private) I'm doing research before i make decision. |

Yes. the first thing is must depend on budget.

Hi,
Don't be confused if HUKM is goverment, there are semi-government hospital. Their fees is relatively expensive, sure expensive than fully gov hospital, but not as much private hospital. My wife was admitted to HUKM few months ago, and was charged up to RM 6K, luckily they accept installment plan. Not much insurances companies able to cover HUKM, including UKM Specialists. I will try to avoid HUKM, but no choice since my wife records are there and she has been follow up on her disease since 4 years ago. Have to pay myself when go there. Very frustrated. |

I understand your frustrated, my mom also had operation and have to stay there for about half month for monitoring, some nurse are so rude.
Means your wife delivered under HUKMSC right? Because they have two section, one under government HUKMSC and another one is HUKM, the charges is different. Am i right? As per Hospital Putrajaya goes ;
You are at which gestation now? How many weeks? If still early, high chance you can wait and sneak into FPP under any of 5 O&G consultant. Among 5 of them, only one female consultant, however all of them are equally excellent. As some forumer already explained, it cost around 1.3-1.7k but you need to advance RM 3k as per deposit. It will include spontaneous vaginal delivery (SVD, a.k.a normal birth), apperatus used, pain medication as well as outpatient medication and 2D1N stay in Executive Ward 5A. Refund will be given later upon discharge. Generally you will received 95% experience of private hospital (actually even better than private as doctors and staff nurse will give more attention to you as you are paying with your own money; while in private everyone using their own money so there are no different from one to another patient, isn't?) but will be paying at least 50% cheaper than private. So yeah, that about it. |
