Hi, thanks for your replied.

I also qualified for Kajang Hospital, but doctor said quite long queue.

My hubby prefer to go Putrajaya, but as i know Sg. Long is not under Putrajaya, unless we apply FPP or Semi FPP, right?

Shall i know how much the cost for FPP if natural delivery? how if complication? Any experience share?

my wife give birth both of my son at  Hospital Putrajaya. We took the FPP ( Full Payee Patient )package. For FPP you can choose the doctor you want to do checkup untill u deliver and stay at 1 bed room suite with toilet and dedicated nurse at 5th floor plus husband can overnight till checkout. Both normal delivery cost around 1500 and 1700. During registration for FPP, they will ask for deposit RM 3000, whereby will be return after deduct during checkout.

Common package need to share ward dormitory and husband cannot overnight. But this package is cheaper.

Nowadays I heard the FPP package is full, my suggestion is to call Hospital Putrajaya, divert to O & G unit to confirm if there is available slot for FPP.

I can go to KPJ kajang or pantai but Hospital Putrajaya just nearby my house and servicea is on par with private based on my opinion.

U can opt for FPP once your pregnancy is 7 Month. Before that it will be as normal checkup.

Thanks for your replied.

I had my checking at Sg Long Hospital for twice, thats why i know the different, and it quite a big different.

And, for Klinik Kesihatan is follow current resident address, because after delivered the nurse will visit baby and mom.

HUKM have two diffent section, one is goverment, just RM200 for general delivery, if private section will be from RM2500 above (but only room and service after delivery is private)

I'm doing research before i make decision.

QUOTE(yeelong @ May 24 2016, 02:43 PM)
same la. just whether u welling to pay or not if you can pay sg.long, they can provide similar or better checking and scanning. Why go all the while to Hosp Putrajaya, You can choose Hosp Serdang which is nearly if u go to Hosp Putrajaya, Both are new hosp comparing to HUKM but HUKM offering more expereinced doctors and got specialist next to it which only charging you for half of specialist cost.

Hi, i think you delivered at HUKM Specialist Centre right. Because HUKM have government and private section.

QUOTE(toughguy @ May 24 2016, 02:52 PM)
My daughter delivery in HUKM on 2010. Caesarean delivery was about RM 4000.
My Son delivery on 2014. Found that cost of Caesarean delivery in HUKM shot up to RM 8k. End up delivery at Putrajaya hospital, RM 5k.

QUOTE(yeelong @ May 24 2016, 03:01 PM)
i suggest you go HUKM use specialist but rent gomen facilities. And that will give you a specialist doc to take care of you with half of specialist price spent in total

Yes. the first thing is must depend on budget.

And, too many bad experienced than private doctor like to cesarean rather than natural deliver.

QUOTE(toughguy @ May 24 2016, 03:01 PM)
My ex-boss wife is the head of subang medical center.
He advise use only specialist for delivery.
Lucky I take his advise. If not, I will not have my daughter deliver safety.

I understand your frustrated, my mom also had operation and have to stay there for about half month for monitoring, some nurse are so rude.

Means your wife delivered under HUKMSC right?

Because they have two section, one under government HUKMSC and another one is HUKM, the charges is different.

Am i right?

QUOTE(stanum @ May 24 2016, 03:39 PM)
Hi,

Don't be confused if HUKM is goverment, there are semi-government hospital. Their fees is relatively expensive, sure expensive than fully gov hospital, but not as much private hospital.

My wife was admitted to HUKM few months ago, and was charged up to RM 6K, luckily they accept installment plan. Not much insurances companies able to cover HUKM, including UKM Specialists.

I will try to avoid HUKM, but no choice since my wife records are there and she has been follow up on her disease since 4 years ago. Have to pay myself when go there. Very frustrated.

just fall to 15 weeks but under Sg Long (i knew im not under putrajaya hospital cover, FFP scheme to be apply)

yeah, as many friends and forumer are recommend Putrajaya, even my hubby, thats is why i do a research here to get more experience share

Anyway, i had download the form and will make a decision once conclusion made.

Thanks ya

QUOTE(Mr.Docter @ May 24 2016, 03:58 PM)
As per Hospital Putrajaya goes ;

You are at which gestation now? How many weeks? If still early, high chance you can wait and sneak into FPP under any of 5 O&G consultant. Among 5 of them, only one female consultant, however all of them are equally excellent.

As some forumer already explained, it cost around 1.3-1.7k but you need to advance RM 3k as per deposit. It will include spontaneous vaginal delivery (SVD, a.k.a normal birth), apperatus used, pain medication as well as outpatient medication and 2D1N stay in Executive Ward 5A. Refund will be given later upon discharge.

Generally you will received 95% experience of private hospital (actually even better than private as doctors and staff nurse will give more attention to you as you are paying with your own money; while in private everyone using their own money so there are no different from one to another patient, isn't?) but will be paying at least 50% cheaper than private.

So yeah, that about it.

Hi, thanks for your sharing.
Yes. I know i am qualified for Kajang Hospital, shall i know the service and charges?

QUOTE(santik @ May 25 2016, 09:20 AM)
I am not sure if this be in any help.

As a resident of Kajang myself, my mom have been to to Klinik Kesihatan Sg. Sekamat and gave birth twice in Hospital Kajang.

Sg. Long area should be in vicinity of Hospital Kajang; you could try there.

HUKM and Hospital Putrajaya is actually much further away.
