my wife give birth both of my son at Hospital Putrajaya. We took the FPP ( Full Payee Patient )package. For FPP you can choose the doctor you want to do checkup untill u deliver and stay at 1 bed room suite with toilet and dedicated nurse at 5th floor plus husband can overnight till checkout. Both normal delivery cost around 1500 and 1700. During registration for FPP, they will ask for deposit RM 3000, whereby will be return after deduct during checkout.

Common package need to share ward dormitory and husband cannot overnight. But this package is cheaper.

Nowadays I heard the FPP package is full, my suggestion is to call Hospital Putrajaya, divert to O & G unit to confirm if there is available slot for FPP.

I can go to KPJ kajang or pantai but Hospital Putrajaya just nearby my house and servicea is on par with private based on my opinion.

U can opt for FPP once your pregnancy is 7 Month. Before that it will be as normal checkup.

Mine is totally opposite case. we lived 40km++ from Sg Long and was recommended there. So all the pregnancy checkups by Dr Ng till birth caesarean also there. After birth Dr Foo (paeditrician ) suggested nearer KK for checkup (after finding out we lived so far ) . We visited one KK nearest to our place but the nurse/staff found out its not the one assigned to us (I think depending on postcode, rather than our exact location/house address) , and the place are so crowded and waiting took hours / barely any place to sit. We end up returning back to Sg Long Dr Foo for everything from small fevers to vaccines. Its a small hospital and thats the beauty there... less crowd/ personalized care.

Hi, thanks for your replied.

I also qualified for Kajang Hospital, but doctor said quite long queue.

My hubby prefer to go Putrajaya, but as i know Sg. Long is not under Putrajaya, unless we apply FPP or Semi FPP, right?

Shall i know how much the cost for FPP if natural delivery? how if complication? Any experience share?

Normal delivery for FPP cost around RM1500 and RM1700 and it wont exceed RM2000. But this depends on if you take epidural and your baby need to be vacuum to avoid drowning during delivery.

During registration for FPP, they will ask for deposit RM 3000, whereby will be return after deduct during checkout.

Im not sure if FPP will be same like KK which based on patient address, but during my wife delivery, another couple next door is from shah alam. U can try to contact O & G unit Hospital Putrajya to double confirm.

same la. just whether u welling to pay or not if you can pay sg.long, they can provide similar or better checking and scanning. Why go all the while to Hosp Putrajaya, You can choose Hosp Serdang which is nearly if u go to Hosp Putrajaya, Both are new hosp comparing to HUKM but HUKM offering more expereinced doctors and got specialist next to it which only charging you for half of specialist cost.

My daughter delivery in HUKM on 2010. Caesarean delivery was about RM 4000.
My Son delivery on 2014. Found that cost of Caesarean delivery in HUKM shot up to RM 8k. End up delivery at Putrajaya hospital, RM 5k.

Thanks for your replied.

I had my checking at Sg Long Hospital for twice, thats why i know the different, and it quite a big different.

And, for Klinik Kesihatan is follow current resident address, because after delivered the nurse will visit baby and mom.

HUKM have two diffent section, one is goverment, just RM200 for general delivery, if private section will be from RM2500 above (but only room and service after delivery is private)

I'm doing research before i make decision.

Sg long doesnt fall into serdang's coverage
Its under h. Kajang locality. So there's a possibility OP gonna be send to kajang.
