QUOTE(denimblue @ May 23 2016, 04:09 PM) Really ah? It not slow. But ipv4 faster.I didn't know. I was using an ASUS RT-N12D1 router with IPv6 fully running on it with Unifi. No problems. Didn't feel the IPv6 "slowness". U can try yrself. Just something like <1MBps. This post has been edited by khusyairi: May 23 2016, 04:15 PM |

QUOTE(denimblue @ May 23 2016, 04:15 PM) Nevermind la. ipv4 also ok.Even if total world population is 7bil. Only 40% world population get internet access & only less 5% people online at a time. Still a lot ip address available. So u only need to worry about 1pv6 maybe 10 years from now. Maybe that time u already own new router. |

QUOTE(Matrix @ May 23 2016, 04:22 PM) is there any websites which is only accessible using ipv6? I dun think so right? Yeah, frankly, i dun see the benefit either... Because I used to have IPv6 running perfectly on my previous ASUS RT-N12D1 router.denimblue, why do you want ipv6 ar? I am curious, maybe there's something i am missing here. It is old and not a gigabit router like the new TL-WR1043ND. Wifi also weaker. |
