My recently acquired TP-Link TL-WR1043ND hardware version V3 seems to have a problem with IPv6 support activation.

I have flashed the firmware to the latest version 15th Feb 2016 but the result is still the same.

The IPv6 connection cannot be activated and the status is forever "connecting...", never "connected".

Does anyone with the same hardware version V3 encounter the same problem with IPv6 activation for Unifi?

Does your ISP support IPV6 DNS? Have you tried to configure a manual iPV6 DNS?

My ISP is TM Unifi.

Before this TP-Link TL-WR1043ND wireless gigabit router, I was using an ASUS RT-N12D1 with IPv6 support fully functional.

The problem can't be with Unifi.

Yah, but it will probably a good reference for the settings. Shouldn't be that much difference, just need to find the similar fields.

Good luck!

Latest hardware version V2?

Good for you.

Mind to share your successful IPv6 settings?

Maybe I can use them with my TL-WR1043ND.

The Archer C7 is same hardware as mine but has added wireless AC. smile.gif

at the ipv6 wan connection type, try slaac or ppoev6 (pppoe session share with pppoev4)

also, for fun, use google ipv6 or opendns ipv6 dns servers

I have tried this combination.

It doesn't work for me.

Are you using TP-Link routers and does it work for you?

Then your TL-WR1043ND hardware version is V1 or V2 with no IPv6 support.

TP-LInk only enable IPv6 support in V3.
