not doing well ler.. always empty like a ghost mall especially weekdays.. not much of people on weekends too

there used to be a very nice Chinese restaurant that was well patronized...not sure if its still there?
maybe they need to have more eateries and make it into some kind of concept mall

maybe ....bcoz now many biz people looking for small office ..enough for 2-5 people only.
as long as the rental is reasonable, then should be ok lah.
viva also got many parking space ... another advantage for office

Was there two month back and I think the crowd is ok. It's a furniture mall anyway and people don't frequent it every week. Cater for special purpose

I know it's a furniture mall but it can't be that QUIET and dead like literally nobody at all in the entire walkway..

even some staff are sleeping in some of the restaurants

perhaps there were some events going on the time you visited the mall?

The Giant grocery also not many people?

i stay at miharja flat just opposite to viva home mall and i am a frequent visitor. i think the mall is doing quite good compare to 1shamelin or cheras sentral. There is MBO cinema but sometimes i opt to go BTS or Pavilion for movie. There are many eateries such as japanese, korean, kenny rogers roasters, subway, oldtown, kam lian kee, boston and so on. Mr DIY just opened a few months ago. I think the management good in organizing events like Popular book fair, wedding fair, sports apparel stock clearance and furniture fair. Another good thing is Vivatel tenants can shop there. Parking is not expensive. The mall is quiet during weekdays but is consider okay during weekends. I think most mall is like that except what some of you mentioned above like IOI City Mall which is quite far for me.

heard that those furniture outlet there are supplying instead of doing retailing. probably that is why they can still survive.

Giant have some crowd on weekends only, quite quiet on weekdays

They should put Giant at LG Floor in the 1st place instead of at the end of G Floor.. IMO.

I could see some people still asking the security guard of the location of Giant

1 shamelin is really a FAILED mall.. went there for once only and never step inside again

Cheras Sentral also dying badly probably because the access road is BAD and the road in front is very JAM

My office is very near to 1Shamelin Shopping Mall. I was just having my lunch at old town white coffee. Wong Kok Char Chan Teng was fullhouse just now. TLC was closed. Most ppl come here for badminton. There is a TGV cinema here but i never watch any movie here. Good thing here parking is free.

If mall doing well....parking wont be free...haha

I used to frequent Cheras Sentral, maybe once a month for a movie or Jaya Grocer. Ever since Jaya Grocer closed, never been there again.

like SS2 Mall...sure die lah

some say TGV there easy to get tickets & good seats even for "hot" movies

how's the occupancy rate now? a lot of shops already closed down, right?
