Yaya leisure mall not to be forgotten.. weird place.. but draws crowd.. really dunno why.. later will be better with eco vest and mrt.. the rows of shops are d generating factor...

behind leisure mall many old housing estate bkt segar.. etc etc..

and only d f&b wing is happening. D giant wing there bit deem.. parking issue was rampant.. but with d newly constructed elevated parking facility opposite maybank.. can gua.. friday pasar malam.. etc etc..

Leisure Mall has been there since early of 90s and still drawing footfall today. Yes it maybe interpreted weird, but this mall has been collective memory of Cheras people.

True enough.. leisure mall gives me a constant renewing feeling with variety of F&b.. mini cinema...everyting of sth but smaller scale than maluri aeon..

I treat not only leisure mall alone as mall d shops adjacent too as part of it.. just dat no kfc.. no burger king.. wendy..thou I dun eat them dat much..I work b4 in leisure mall.. during weekdays .. it is really leisure to walk..

it is luck factor I suppose..

If it is luck then luck has been with Leisure Mall all these yeats, relative to Phoenix and UE3 ....

if not mistaken, UE3 building has undergone refurbishment for the 2nd time (till become Viva Home for now) but still not doing well..

Yup...the UE3(then) became Viva(now) and Phoenix(then) became Cheras Sentral(now)....
Luck is with Leisure Mall then and now, as compared to these revamped malls?

Maybe its because of the ease of entrance for Leisure Mall. Don't forget that in future there'll be MRT / LRT direct to Cheras Sentral, Leisure Mall and Viva Home.

Perhaps their value will be unlocked by then.

Not sure about any MRT1/LRT direct to Viva Home than what is already in placed.

MRT1 will have direct link bridge to LM and Cheras Sentral.
Cheras Sentral MRT station status has already been "downgraded" from an interchange status to just a station status after the new alignment of MRT2 that never passed thru Pandan to Cheras Selatan. Cheras Sentral is not a sentral kind of status.
I do hope MRT1 helps their business.

huh? there will be upcoming MRT to Viva Home? where are they gonna build it?

dont think they will be build another LRT station as Miharja LRT station is just nearby..

[Latest update]: RHB Bank(the only bank at Viva )has closed down its branch at Viva Home recently.. that means there wont be any cash deposit machines available at Viva Home starting from now on..
