Yea, logically yes, the "spiritual disturbance" to a normal environment, most of the biz will not be able to be fit to be in except very few.

I think the tenant in current viva home that is doing well (perhaps the only tenant) is the club at top floor.. the rest of tenants are swatting flies even cinema on weekends/PH

Ya, only those type of biz can survive.
I saw some tenants are doing Moving Out Sales and some putting out their "display unit sets" for big Sale...

I'm pretty sure that the cinema at here is suffering losses.. always less than 10 people whenever I watch movie at here..

hope it can still sustain at this mall..

yes.. occupancy rate is clearly dropping in this mall as more tenants are moving out from this mall.. even F&B left like less than 15 for the whole mall..

the big department store at LG floor is also swatting flies.. don't think it can sustain for long..

on a side note, i'm surprise that they managed to get new supermarket to replace Giant..

Just hope the cinema won't closed down..

Wow...haven't been to viva for a looong time...

..there used to be a Chinese restaurant on the G or LG that was quite good -not sure if its still there.

Super Seven Store is the one replacing Giant, hiring people, not sure if this store is owned by Viva boss, anyhow, the SSF Home Improvement is now inside Viva, see if it can attract the people as it has its own "branding qi".

Feng Shui seem no good. From UE3 to Viva, not a popular mall for ppl to go. Most of the time is empty. How to complete while surrounding have Sunway Velocity, IKEA, Mytown..... leisure mall.... coming soon more shopping mall will come in cheras area.... just wonder why they built so many shopping mall within same area??

If in future, Viva home space change to Condo or residensi, sure become hot cake.

yeah.. even before velocity+mytown+ikea opens its door, this mall already suffering from lack of crowd..

The only time when the mall is really crowded is when there is Popular fair held at expo hall, otherwise it will be DAMN EMPTY on 365 days..

Perhaps the mall management needs to find ways to attract Bohpular Book Fair organizer/management team to have it there again... (instead of klzz)

modem home fair, NF3, and some other home exhibitors used to organize their fair few years ago at viva expo hall.. now they prefer to organize it at klzz or mad valley.. so i guess you know what's the reasons..

The question is are these crowd sustainable? If half of these crowd is sustainable in 6 months time, it will be the new force in hypermarket.
