 Shoulder Pain

While benching(warm up set),I heard a pop sound and felt pain in the front portion of my left shoulder.

My question is,does it require medical attention and how long should I abstain from exercises that involve the shoulder?

Any limited range of movement of the affected part?

I have full range of motion but with discomfort when I swing my shoulder.

That serious?The pain isn't that bad,just a slight discomfort when swinging my shoulder.
Based on your experience assuming that you have experienced it before,how long should i lay off the weights?

Sometimes when you bench form wrong the cuff kena grind or strain abit. Takes around 4 days to heal for me.

Tumpang tered.
Aftee did workout last few weeks ago, i had a shoulder pain. I tot it just a muscle sore that will went off after a few days.
But the next day, the pain went to the chest area specifically on the right side. The pain is on and off. Sometimes i feel a very sharp pain when breathing. The shoulder pain however totally gone and i can do lifting and etc freely now.
I went to see the doctor and she said it must be an inflammation to muscle. She gave me anti inflammation pills but the pain is not relieved till now.
I had my ecg done yesterday, my heart is normal.
What is that pain actually?

Do you tend to sit for a long time? Like in front of a pc for hours?

Shoulder pain related to breathing can originate from the spinal and rib-cage joints in different parts of the neck and thorax. If you feel the pain at the tip of the shoulder, then its likely to be called back shoulder pain.

There are facet joints in the corner angle of the neck and shoulder,when strained, the pain will be felt over the back of the shoulder,chest and upper back.

Long hours sitting down with the head hanging forward will cause the joints to be strained. This is because the neck needs to support the weight of the head.

That being said, you will need to fix your sitting position or stand up every few hours.
