Today trip to ASNB was unplanned as I wanted to visit EPF at the same building.
(By the way, Shah Alam EPF is moving out to IDCC, Shah Alam by next week)

Hi, what city do you live in?
Manyak wealthy...why do you choose to hit on AS1M + ASM first & left out ASW?
Fuhhhh, 1 whole stack??? You have a strong affection to purchase your units at ASNB ka? biggrin.gif

I am aware that we are required to fill out the form if we intend to hunt down some units at ASNB. However, if the transaction is done through an agent, we just need to provide the necessary information & the teller will complete the form for us. So, no need pikir mau bring apa form or beg, bukan ka?.
*
I'm retired and this is part of my retirement plan to get better returns. I've set a target of how much to invest in ASNB- ASW- ASM & AS1M

I've completed my top up for AS1M & need a little bit more for ASM. Somehow it's easier to get those units first compare to ASW.

It's difficult to get ASW but not impossible as I'd still managed to get some every day. Just need more patience & more luck for it. Sikit sikit jadi bukit as what @nexona88 always said.

Usually, I prefilled my forms before going to banks and will always request extra forms in case more transactions are offered. My regular bank staff initially helped to fill all forms but now a day, I'll helped him if he continues trying to check for extra transactions.

well actually I took one whole stack from ASNB previously when no people looking  devil.gif now don't needed to begged anyone for extra forms  biggrin.gif I guess can last until next year  brows.gif

since now all using same number. much more easy for me. don't write date, amount & fund name. 1 form can rotate 3 fund  biggrin.gif  thumbsup.gif

I'd collected extra forms from ASNB yesterday as my bank branch forms are nearly all used up by my regular visits. As they're still new to ASNB, they only have limited forms brought in & only few customers walked in to ask for it. Yest, I was the only customer asking for it the whole day. I told my bank staff to reserve their forms for other customers while waiting for their orders to come in.

I can slightly correlate that when auntie got the AS1M, I got ASM. Now auntie getting most of the ASM, I got AS1M.

So by next week, all the AS1M and ASM will be mine for the taking. Muahahaha
*
thumbsup.gif My plan was to try to complete my top up before everyone salary day so that the rest here can easily get it next week & also take advantage of the cheap petrol to go ronda ronda to check for availability. All the places I'd visited, no need to pay car park. So every trip can save more $$. biggrin.gif

Anyway, auntie is already very contented with the amount deposited in each account. Total of ASW I'd managed to get this month are quite impressive but still far from my set target. Auntie will keep going to check but focus on ASW next. If lucky, I'm happy to get 100- 200u / visit. At least , not empty handed.

thumbup.gif Good luck for your upcoming hunting trips.

Good luck to everyone trying.
Auntie twinkle only looking for a bit more later after everyone grab the morning shares. Hopefully I'll conclude my ASM transaction today. After that, can focus on other stuff. After yesterday big transactions, no hurry to run out as only limited $$ left till next week when FDs due for redemption.

For those with contacts at banks/ pnb, I super envy you all.
For those who are unsuccessful walking in and out like auntie twinkle, don't give up hope as someday, you'll strike lucky too.

Visited ASNB to complete my Pengisytiharan Amanah (& EPF nearby) .
Finally it's done. rclxm9.gif
Nearly got stuck till 3pm waiting for it as the Commissioner of oath was about to leave for Friday's prayer. Paid $6 for the whole process.

Managed to get 2 transactions, 4 digits of ASM from out of 7 attempts (1/2 hourly) while waiting for my 'PA' stuff.

Today, very hard to 'see' ASW units as per ASNB staff.

While waiting, a guy walked in to withdraw big sum of ASW but my happiness was cut short as the security guy reminded me that he's a BUMI!
Not quota for CHINESE! cry.gif cry.gif

Now even my area CIXx s pulling the "once per day" thingy on me liao... sad.gif

..and I have been going like 1-2 times before lunch and 1-2 times after lunch...is it a lot?

Note: I have been professional and courteous, e.g. asking whether it's ok to come back a bit later, smile, etc...

Just try other banks and avoid doing your future business with them . I told CIMB, they've just lost a potential customer for their other products.

QUOTE(wu ming @ May 27 2016, 02:02 PM)
Some CIMB branch can even tell me that they block transaction for non-bumi to top up asnb.

Visited 1 bank, 1x only after ASNB today.

Managed to get 5 'baby' units- 4 ASM + 1 ASW (300u) which is an extra bonus before weekend rest.
ASM still need a bit of top up.

Overall this week, thumbup.gif ASM is the quickest to top up. ASW is the slowest but still able to get a bit of units everyday. thumbup.gif

I may or may not try my luck as bank staff on leave. No point trying at the other banks (RHB & MBB) here as I can already 'hear' no units.

Wish you & others, all the best luck. Auntie twinkle needs to park FD$ temporarily until the right time to get ASW later.

really admire you...
i went to asnb branch yesterday ab 11am to sign the pengistiharan amanah agreement. wanted to top up too but too many ppl waiting... waiting are also full... so i just signed the agreement n left.

i guess i will stop for some time and dump in all extra money monthly to my car loan which is using the -blr rate. can dump in and reduce interest.

I was adviced to avoid visiting ASNB, Shah Alam on Mon & Friday. My previous visits were for opening accounts & settling the Pengisytiharan Amanah. (& neighboring EPF stuff)
There is no need for me to re visit ASNB in future as I can just try my luck with my neighboring banks. I do have a regular bank which I'd try without the fear of being intimidated by them.
Good luck for your future top up.
( thumbsup.gif for settling your priority in life.)

Perhaps your ASNB has appointed person to witness your signature.

For bank hunting, also advised to avoid Monday and Friday like ASNB? Or doesn't matter.
*
From what I'd observed in ASNB, Shah Alam, it was true the place was extremely packed on Monday & Friday was busier than weekdays (Tues, Wed, Thurs). It just happened I was there at those days. The security lady also confirmed to avoid Mon & Fri.
I don't think it matters if you go to banks as long as there is no Q at the counter and they welcome you to try your luck.

This friend of mine told me that when he tried to sell off all his units, PNB didn't allow his straight one shot dispose all...in stages...

Anyone else experienced this?  hmm.gif

From what I heard at ASNB recently, the investor was told he can withdraw only 10k at ASNB at one time but he can withdraw more at banks.

Managed to get 4 digits ASM from 2 transactions out of 5 attempts.

ASM yet to hit personal target. Just need tiny bit more now. Hoping it'll hit by tomorrow. thumbsup.gif Luckily MBB staff said I can do multiple visits to check availability.

No more further hunting for me today. Weather is extremely hot outside!

Anyone willing to share how to get insider help? Put passbook with them and let them try whole day. Must you be their premium banking customer / regular customer / belanja kopi/ just make friends with their bank manager / etc.?
*
Just follow auntie twinkle hopping like bunnies from 1 place to another. Even though I was 'told' twice by some internal people to buy 'makan', so far I've just ignored it as I was in service industry before and we're prohibited to do it.
If auntie twinkle can get 6 figures each for ASM, AS1M & ASW in <month, I'm sure you can get it too. Everything is luck & timing.
Auntie twinkle is not PB customer and only enough $ in account for ASNB. If successful, I'll transfer more $ from principal bank.
