from what i read, this mitv3 has a 5.0 lollipop 8gb android.

but is on own ops sys, not firmwared like sharps and sonys wuth google androidtv which is very easy to use like an android box.

i think there must be a way to sideload android apps.

just google; i think there are users who have successfully rooted it to access the android in full (but mind the warranty, though).

as for kodi, i remember someone with a mitv2 was able to install it in an old thread.

if kodi can be installed, any apk can be installed.

Ya it's really hard to use took me some time to get the English going as well. I try not to root it cause I'm like pretty noor when it comes to these things though I'm not worried about the warranty.... I bought it direct from China... no warranty to speak off haha

A question on audio for Kodi. I use Exodus to watch series or movies. I find the audio does not sync with the speech. You can manually sync it using the audio icon. Normally what is the sweet configuration? Ahead by 0.5 secs or delay audio by 0.5 secs.

Anyone can share?

Depends on the source file and your audio equipment. What works for file A, might not work for file B or C, so sync accordingly. Personally have not experienced audio sync issues.

I read that if you use MX Player, it should resolve the audio sync issue. I really don't know how to use MX PLayer in Kodi. Is it a complex process?

MX Player is a separate app and not a Kodi addon. Kodi is a much more powerful video player than MX Player. Most TVs and audio equipment ship with audio sync adjusting features, use it. Same with kodi, during playback, you can adjust the audio sync settings to match the video.

I think of kodi because it's much easy to use since it's like all build in one , no need to install extra apps which takes up ram.1GB ram hard to get video apps to cache.

The superbox build for 15 supertv is still on 1.0.1 and I can't get updates.Extracting from 16 javis superbox 16may supertv plugin to zip gives out error when opening the addon after installing.

Anyone using kodi 15 with superbox 1.0.7 report working here ? or do you know any repo for supertv where I can find them ?

i actually find it strange why many people simply post trivial questions in forums when the same no. of keystrokes on google can give great answers!

kodi is a grand app, has great potential, in may ways competing with YOUTUBE to be the greatest app on planet earth.
but... it is only as good as the addon providers and how they maintain them. and that is assuming gomens don't geoblock and corporations don't pay a dozen hackers to sabotage them to keep profits.

as discussed previously, anything from china is best within china made things - hardware or software. china enthusiasts like to keep everything in chinese whereas kodi people are mainly english, will do something "china" in a clumsy way for a minority english-speaking/reading/no mandarin audience.

i can't stress this enough - forget kodi for anything china-china, you will get breadcrumbs only. so much easier to get china stuff direct with china apps - live tv or vod - in HD. i actually have that on my smart tv too, no need any box, better quality than local tv.

hongkong, taiwan, sg - can get a bit but are usually limited and in sd - i think it's becos they geoblock and restrict to paying users on paidtv or restricted by our local powers.

kodi actually reminds u why use 15.0 when there is 16.1! i can already see why u failed to update on adrian supertv as some updates can only be done on kodi 16.0/16.1.

as for what box to buy, i suggest u find a way to get a higher speed first. 4/5mpbs can't get u far even with the most expensive box. like a 500cc engine car won't run faster with rocket fuel or super tires. can talk about that in this thread:

sometimes, a favorite may not work anymore as a result of an update.

just remove, do a new one.

as for kissasian, i think it has been down for some days now, possibly provider not maintaining it well..?

Guys Im replacing my Astro with Kodi, since I dont really watch tv anymore except TV3, mostly. Problem is all the addon I tried, dont have TV3 channel up. Any of you guys know any addon or live channel that I can try, just for TV3 only? Appreciate it so much if anyone can point me in the right direction, thanks!
