That reads more like source/linking issues, than a problem with the addon.. Sometimes file "A" is labeled or stored as "B".. vice versa..

Happened here too.. Just re-enter the login details in the addon' settings and good to go.

this thread is about KODI.
kodi is an app, versions for box, stick, phone, tablet, pc, mac, etc.

generally, low streamyx can't get much; higher streamyx can get some.
box thread, read/ask more here:

Been searching high and low for answer, but could not find one. Saw this thread and thought why not ask here. Sorry if I am being a little too forward, not a very technical person. I have an android box with Kodi that cannot connect to any URL, I didn't change anything but every single site I tried, URL cannot be connected.

anyone has the same problem? I am using Unifi 30MB by the way, my PC can connect to those sites without any problem, but not my android box kodi.

Any help will be appreciated or if need to buy a new one after a 9 months of using? Thanks in advance.

The android box - Smart Multimedia Player Model Q7. Got this from Lazada.
Kodi V15.2 - isengard, when I start it up after I clear cache. It does take a longer time to power up my Kodi though.
As for your 3rd question, of course it works. I got this on March and worked like a charm without doing anything to it. Plug into my TV, configure internet and done. Been using 1Channel Primewire and Exodus. Now both says "Failed to connect to primewire.ag". And I didn't install anything else in there too, since I am not technical enough so I dare not fool around with it.

Do you think restarting my internet connection will work? Or should I update something? My wife is about to kill me.... bangwall.gif

Isengard is old. Get current jarvis 16.1.

Hope u still remember how to install kodi, repos and addons.

Uninstall, clear data too to remove all old data files. Certain things in isengard does not work in jarvis.

Restart, put all yr fav repos and addons back.

U mentioned primewire.ag... primewire or 1channel has been dead for some time.

get exodus, phoenix, etc.

all current popular addons been discussed continuously in previous pages.

restarting internet is needed only if there is connection problem, i.e. other apps also do not work.

Unfortunately, I didn't install Kodi myself, it comes with the box. All I did was to plug it in. So to clear all data and uninstall, I don't know if there is any chance I could do it with my Android Box I bought from Lazada. So I guess that is it for me.

As for Primewire, it has been working for me well and good. I haven't had any issues if I stream it from my computer, and being lesser learned in tech, I opted for a Mac Air as my notebook as it's super low maintenance. Even Exodus, Phoenix and anything, 123movies, whatever add-ons I have in there is just not connecting. Which begs the question, is my box all messed up, or only the Kodi.

If you suspect it is a Kodi version issue, then I don't think there is much choice for me unless you could recommend a shop or something where I can pay 50-100 bucks to get it all sorted out. I live in KL and could move around PJ area to find a fix if there is someone who could hook me up.

Thanks again.

so far, u still haven't said if there is ANYTHING working with the box.
is Youtube, browser, any app working in the box??
can u tell from settings if there is an internet connection?
if other apps are working, then something is not right with just KODI, not the box.
if all apps not working, then u hv a connectivity problem that need to be fixed first.

primewire... ok, maybe i have not used it for a long time, wrongly assumed it is dead.

i do not know for sure how problematic old isengard 15 is now but it has been like 2 years since jarvis 16.1 came out; 17.0 coming soon.

kodi... if have to start from scratch, try reading first few pages of this thread, many tips.

but be informed kodi like all android apps need some hands on updates, upgrades and maint regularly. becos the apps and addons die, need new, etc. the sooner u get yr hands on it, the better.

Within the bold statement, therein lies the issue. I suggest you visit the beginning of this thread and digest the information there. Then work your way thru this thread.

Summarily, the Kodi app is simply a media player.. Setup up good? Out comes good.. Garbage in...Garbage out. Even when it's been setup nicely, it requires regular hands on maintenance. So begs the question, are you willing to get your hands dirty or would you rather ditch the box and buy another box that's been pre-setup? Your answer to this should immediately tell you what next to do.. smile.gif

Only thing not working is Kodi. I can go to browser and surf some stuff, but having problems downloading the apk files for 16.1 Kodi.

I will again try and dabble on the box. Since Kodi is dead, it serves no purpose for me anymore, so might as well try to clear everything and reinstall if possible.

Will keep you posted. thanks.

kodi works, working for everyone here.

kodi 16.1 jarvis is what u need.

given what u have described so far, i m quite sure the root problem is old isengard and/or obsolete/corrupted files/folders in it.
