Make sure when you put in the pocket the sensor is not hitting/touching anything. Because more than few times, it will disable(sort of safety I guess) and ask you to enter pin instead.

I also used casing but sometimes the sensor can get triggered too due to the position in the pocket. Try deleting and re register your fingerprint.

This bootloader lock thingy is implemented only recently. Older xiaomi device doesn't even lock the bootloader.
All new xiaomi device have this thing including redmi 3,mi 5 and other newer releases.

But the thing is, other manufacturer also lock bootloader but not as hassle as xiaomi

For those bloatware either disable it using the native apps settings or use titanium backup

RN3 is way better than RN2. Better wait or get from other shop.

Check whether you used any battery saving profile. If not, recheck the settings again.
Or if u afraid it will drain your data, tick the "WLAN only" means it will sync when you are connected to wireless connection.

Must flash to China Stable 1st using miflash. Then only can update using the updater app on China Stable Rom.
You can't go from Global to China using updater app And you can't flash Developer ROM using miflash.

Too big for me.. Around 6.4inch right?

You can try send to Xiaomi and pray that they will honor.
Just say about your mic quality enough. If you lucky they MAY honor it. Otherwise pay for it

Change to other theme

I think by far the Xiaomi.eu rom is the best. You got the goodies of China Dev + bloatware removed + tweaks.
But may not be suitable to everyone though.

Just started using xiaomi this year though.

All latest upgrade/updates starts from China dev then only released to global dev.

Whats the changelog? Any noticeable improvement so far?

Your vendor Ron is based on global rom or China rom? Check on settings.

Use modified twrp.. Easier. Check link I posted before.

I think mtk phone even if bootloader locked, still can flash using their legendary SP Tools .Only some of the rom requires unlocked bootloader.. At least that's what I saw from xiaomi forum.

You can always flash to the stock global rom then still can update normally.
The steps are quite easy provided you follow to steps correctly.

Try xiaomi.eu rom. Its still MIUI but much refined. If you don't like the miui theme, download Android M/N theme at theme store and use another launcher(like nova).

From mi malaysia website is SD version.
Mtk version only ap set.
