Thanks for the information! Need to backup then. Any easier way to backup if it's not rooted? I used to use Ti Backup during my rooting days, these days I'm just too lazy.

Sigh, if only I knew this, will help her to flash to Global ROM when she just bought it...

Hello, i just purchase a MTK version from Lazada.

The MIUI is 7.0.22.2 (LHNCNCJ). The ROM is outdated and full of advertisement / bloatware.

My question is:

1. If I decided to flash a clean rom without bloatware, I need to download the 'Redmi Note 3 MTK China' rom from official website?

2. I definitely cannot use any rom stated 'Redmi Note 3 Qualcomm China' or 'Redmi Note 3 Qualcomm Global' right?

3. As far as I understand, there is no official Rom for MTK phone but with Global Rom right?

Just wondering. How do we get the tools? Thank  you in advance.

Guys is your auto brightness working? When I'm under bright sunlight the screen goes super dark like it's not turned on at all. Tried the light sensor hardware test and it's working fine though.
