Somehow I think that a SD shall have at least 40' wide only have the SD feeling. hmm.gif

Anyway, MRT/LRT is an additional choice of transport mode. It cannot penetrate every township area and it will need to go to areas that it needs to connect up to the interchanges. For the LRT3, there is no classification of poor or rich areas that dictates the alignment, as far as I know. The main determinants are Ridership Catchment (some might argue that poorer pipu area might have higher ridership,etc) and strategic points for commercial areas besides the technical engineering and environmental factors.

Yeah, EWI group as a whole seems have quite well planned on how to manage its balance sheet while continue maintaining/ accelerating it's speed of growth. The listing of EWI is a good example, and not only that the shares to be held by EW is just a 30% associate stake so that no consolidation of debt is needed (instead will be equity accounted). Other than that, partnering with landowner (eg in Eco Ardence project) or institutions with strong financing capacity (eg EPF) will also help in easing it's financial burden - and this kind of collaboration also help in maintaining good operation and management control and keep its EW branding in its development.
