Ecu reflash or remap is not cheap. its also locked to the provider hence you have no freedom to opt for other tuners. Piggy or standalone is much cost effective but more headache. Sensor tempering is not recommended. The signal reading is not measured by magnitude but by voltage/current/frequency/impulse (can't recall). As such you will still need to configure the ECU to read the signal correctly.
