New aeon gold need to pay annual fees even with 12 swipes per year. Need to call for waiver

How does the 5% cash back on petrol on Sundays work?

I used my Aeon Big card to pump petrol last time (3 weeks ago), but I don't see any cash back on my statement/transaction history.

Called to cancel my aeon credit card but failed the verification questions. Was not allow to cancel the card via phone anymore.

1. Ask about card limit. I have many cards so I can't remember this.
2. When is the last time I use this card for petrol and which petrol station. I find this question is ridiculous. I doubt how many people can remember that. Nobody will use this card to pump petrol.......

Is there anyway I can cancel my card?

The questions are standard. If you call other banks, they will ask you the same kind of questions.
If you don't remember, ask the person to hold for a few minutes, login to your AEON Credit online account, find out the answer, and then tell the person the correct answer. It's not that difficult.

Just want to clarify. Aeon gold mastercard have their own cycle or not? Example:

I got my card on 1st April 2017. Ownershp cycle would be from Jan - Dec 2017 or Apr 2017 - Apr 2018?

Just to make sure i didn't get charged with the yearly fee..

You can refer to your statement, there has mentioned about this

How about your statement which shows the count of swipe, has it reached 12/12?
Anyway, there were cases reported which they missed out, a simple call will solve it.

Online transactions are considered as "swipe:.
BT is not counted as swipe though.

Coincidentally, I have reached my anniversary this month, so this is how it is shown and the count is reset this month.

Last month, it was 10/12 and I paid 2xRM 1 for Digi to make it 12/12 (not shown as the count was reset in latest statement)

thanks for the screenshot, really appreciated. I dont see anywhere "cumulative/transaction spend" counter in my statement. I guess I still need to call them up.

update: call them up, apparently my card is not eligible for the auto waiver. those under auto-waiver are given under some promotion, so what they can do is put me up under retention plan whereby i need to swipe min 3 times within 3 months and they will refund back the annual fee.

I thought it is in their tnc that the annual fee is waiver upon 12 swipes per year?
