QUOTE(zilch28 @ May 30 2016, 07:39 PM) Where did you trade in? I ask in sunway pyramid just now, they said they don't want to accept rooted device Senheng but their program essentially backed by ingram as well. Tomorrow is the last day for their special value for s7... Then back to normal value. No need to tell them its rooted btw This post has been edited by karlbum: May 30 2016, 07:56 PM |

The fella ask, no point in hiding it since it can be easily seen. I'll try senheng tomorrow. Thanks No need to tell them its rooted btw |

I was messing with a Huawei phone today and I really like how everytime you wake the phone you get a different lockscreen wallpaper. Wonder if you guys know any apps for our phone that could do something similar?

QUOTE(sniper on the roof @ May 30 2016, 06:28 PM) I have the ringke fusion and i dont think it will do anything to protect the phone if it fell face first. Very simple experiment, dropping it just 10-20cm face first also will hear the sound of glass impacting the surface. so spigen better? mine is ringke fusion too.Main problem is lips on the sides are too soft and small, too easily dislodged on impact |

QUOTE(fkinmeng @ May 30 2016, 10:45 PM) Posted this earlier. I think its less of about the brand but design. The spigen neo hybrid have the hard plastic frame to hold the tpu in place when dropped and the crystal shell have that bumper around the corner that's not just bump protection but the shape makes the case hold firmer to the phone. One tell tale sign is how easy it is remove the case from phone. The easier it is, the easier it is also for a drop to unseat the case. Since u have the fusion, try it yourself. Drop it face first on a flat wooden table and feel/hear how tpu vs table sound like, then drop it progressively higher. QUOTE(sniper on the roof @ May 26 2016, 04:10 PM) Maybe hit something while its in the pocket without noticing. I've cracked HTC M9's lens without me noticing it as well. This post has been edited by sniper on the roof: May 30 2016, 10:58 PMSpeaking about cases... I don't think all those MIL-STD-810-516.6 are created equal. According to the standard. the device are to be dropped from a height of 4 feet onto 2 inch of plywood, on each of its 6 faces, 12 edges and 8 corners for a total of 26 drops. Then it will be inspected and determine if it still works. It doesn't say anything about cosmetic damage or cracked screens. Tech21 I dunno lah but I think some case brands are bending the rule. I've got the spigen neo-hybrid, spigen crystal shell and ringke fusion which all claims to beMIL-STD certified so I was curious and did an unscientific test last night. I dropped my S7E with each of the case face down and edge screen down from just ~15cm onto my flat wooden table. I didn't wanna break my screen lah so don't dare to try higher Judging from the sound of the impact.. both the spigen sounded ok at that height while the Ringke clearly sounded like the glass made contact with my table. That's just ~15cm. |

Does the spigen curved HD sp peel off on its own? I'm using one without any brand and it started leveling by the curves on its own. But the touch to this sp is really good. Like touching a real glass. What a shame 🙁

Haven't managed to find the clear one yet.Not sure if this is guerilla marketing but my colleague was confident enough with his tech21 case to live drop his IP6S+ waist height on tile floor |
