Preferably new but used is okay too..

but why no one mentioned wide angle lens?  hmm.gif

Cause your job at wedding is to capture the wedding not landscape. Not saying ultra wide in wedding is useless if you have creative mind but if given the budget, I would rather go for conventional focal lens first.

Huh, u sure about that? I am not user of A7 series, but in survey to buy one. Maybe u guy had used that, is it the AF really that bad compare to DSLR? Even the high end A7r ii which has 399 points of phase detection AF? Sorry, I never heard about their AF problem... This is first time I heard A7 series has AF weakness...

399 points merely talking about coverage point of AF.....which is totally useless unless you like to focus on stuff very close to the edge. And the reason mirrorless suck at AF compared to dslr cause dslr has dedicated AF system separate from the sensor unlike mirrorless.

But around this time, mirrorless AF is pretty close to dslr like the a6000 series, unless you bring out 7DmkII, D500, and those D5, 1DX camera you can buy small car with. And depends on users' need, you may not even need that much autofocus speed if you primarily just shoot normal stuff....like wedding.
