Not sure if my house unit only or all condo block face this. How could it my phone/coverage fault when it is 4G and full network signals but the download speed is just 0.5Mbps?

This is what their customer complaint team replied:

During MCO, probably too many people use their phones to access internet at the same time.

For mobile broadband, the bandwidth is shared between all users.. lets say the provided 4g speed is 50mpbs, if there're many users, each user can probably get 1mbps only for example, due to shared bandwidth.

Unlike wired broadband, if available speed is 100mps, all users can get 100mbps each and slow down are caused by other factors only.

How to deal with this super slow speed at <50KB/s even thou phone is connected at 4G all the time at entire location in my house. I live in a condominium which has fibre optics for TIME and unifi mobile network working perfectly fine. I report to redone but seem no action taken by them.

during MCO, Redone in my place is totally useless, the connection speed only few KBps, and worst of all i can't even use Waze rclxub.gif

update: i tried changing APN in Settings from Redone to Celcom, and it seems better now

I have only Celcom3g APN, resseting them dont work and Redone escalation is not helpful.

I have been facing this slow data all the while, I guessed I will just change the plan back to Red8. So far, unifi & digi worked like charm in my condo...

data quota can use to play movie online or download big file..
that's the strong reason for slow internet..

Actually.. mco already ended. Currently, it is cmco. Free data is just for mco period only. While getting free data during cmco is just a bonus.
