Ya I was surprised last week driving out using my tng from ioi city. Rm5.5+ for 3 hours+...  Feel like going mid valley
*
Holly cow ! More expensive vs midvalley.
Never use TnG to pay parking - U're charge a fee and U get less time cos those who use parking ticket gets like additional 10-15 min - the time it takes from after paying n exiting.

so after the revised parking rate, IOI City Mall's crowd is lesser even on weekends? hmm.gif
*
still a lot on weekend. kajang/bangi/ serdang /putrajaya people treat ioi like midvalley like tat. so they langsi increase parking fee.

wail till pavilion bukit jalil open mayb will reduce parking fee lo.

Good to see Da Men picking up! biggrin.gif

Summit and DM should join forces and build a bridge to each other. Make a 'supermall' for USJ 1. Summit looks good from the outside now, but not gone inside for some time.
*
Inside still the same lah.many tenants cabut already. shihlin also closed shop.

seems like they have the Midas touch. whatever business they're in it's successful. bumbu bali is one of the earliest restaurants set up in bandar puteri and till today it is still doing good business while many of the restaurants there have come and gone.
*
IIRC their original restaurant, waterlily, was in IOI Business Park back in 2002 , opposite IOI Puchong.

through all these years they maintain their good quality. one of the best restaurant in my list.

I would also hope so...

The previous hike was RM2 for first three weekday hours. A few months later, they tightened it to RM2 for first TWO weekday hours, which is the current rate.

Watching a movie will marginally exceeds two hours(including time taken to walk to/from cinema and purchase tickets)...

But l like the Chatime there with plenty of seats...

Strategic malls still pulling ’em in

BY EUGENE MAHALINGAM

IOI City Mall to add another million sq ft

DESPITE the subdued retail property market currently, malls that are generally strategically located, or managed “properly” are still attracting customers in the droves.

An example of that is IOI City Mall (pic above), which opened its doors at the end of 2014. With a net-lettable area of more than one million sq ft, the mall is already gearing up for a new phase, equally as big, says IOI City Mall Sdn Bhd marketing and leasing head Chris Chong.

“The success of IOI City Mall shall be replicated in its phase two development, with an additional one million sq ft and a major convention centre as the management aims to deliver a space for social and economic connection,” he tells StarBizWeek.

“Thus, the addition of two blocks of Grade A office towers and the completion of the five-star Le Meridian Hotel in mid-July are expected to invite more diversified excitement that will draw bigger crowds to the mall, especially on weekdays.”

About RM1.5bil was invested to build the mall, which is located just a stone’s throw away from IOI Resort in Putrajaya. Chong says the mall has an occupancy rate of around 95%, with rental rates ranging from RM5 to RM20.
