U need to upgrade ur RAM to at least 1Gb to support smoothly.

upgraded to 2gb ram (KVR667D2S5/1G x2, dual channel)
running smoothly, no bsod, my model is v3010au.

how much is it if i want to upgrade my ram to 2GB???

i'm using V3202TU model.. and i dont know how to reformat this stupid notebook.. currently i'm using windows vista, which is a built in windows for this notebook.. so when i try to boot my ahem windows xp disc.. it can be booted but it cannot be formatted.. it says something like there's no empty harddisk for me to format and install a windows...
pls help




do you think upgrade my ram to 2G will make everything smooth?? because it'll cost me a bomb if i do that.. if it's going to make a difference then i will do that.. if not i will just try to reformat my pc...

1.5G will be okay i guess

go to ur bios disable the sata option
u shud be able to format ur vista

hehe.... eh.... if that ok if i upgrade it to 1.5?? wouldn't be laggy after that??

if it's fully charged
then u can remove the battery

u can see all shops selling notebooks doing so

just format my v3164...but have problem .....cant install audio... could not found the media device for this driver.......plez help

If u want ur laptop battery stay longer please remove ur battery when using with adapter.

guys... anyone been to digital mall in front of jaya supermarket eh... if i go there to add my ram how much is that eh? i'm planning to get 1 GB ram...

btw, last week week went to LYP
the supervisor of All IT told me that adding the RAM urself will void ur warranty
but u can still add it urself
just make sure u take it out if u need to RMA ur laptop (touch wood)

1.5GB ram is still dual channel capable?
not that it matters much...

which means??

1.5Gb cant run dual channel. must be (2 x 512MB 667mhz) or (2 x 1Gb 667mhz) just can run dual. correct me if i am wrong.

but i asked the technician online.. they told me that i can add another 1GB in another slot and it would be effective as well...
