i think the seller no nothing one. he said i must install vista. i told him i dont want vista because most of my software are not compatible with vista. now everything is settle, because i return the compaq to him already and he refund back 85% of my money. no more pening kepala. smile.gif

one more question. anyone know why la all the brand new notebook in the market right niw not include CD Driver and not compatible with XP? or this is for hp and compaq only?

ade la. my fren ade bg driver dia punya compaq, his compaq is v3000 also. but when i install on my v3000 the driver that he give me is not compatible. dont no why not compatible.

aiyo v3000 got many models...maybe your friend got v3000 other model or maybe u install it wrongly.....

that is because initially this laptop designed for vista. if u go buy this lappie, it got no OS at all...mean the seller install to u the XP. not the compaq.

no point..wat heavy programmes are u having now?top secret military software?erm..i tink 2gb ram is sufficient for usage in present..mayb it will nd 4gb, but not now..maybe the new release v3k series in future.

yea..i also think like that...sometime i think 1.5GB in my v3415 AU also kinda more than enuff liao for xp...not planning to use vista yet...too buggy...

4GB is really too big and no point like siu yi said...
