It is 2.5hp. My installer used the bi-connector, one is bigger one and the burned one is smaller. Panasonic technicians came to check and said it was the wrong installing method. The wire are ok but not the connector. They will make report to the office about that shop.
long story

12/04 8am+ Panasonic customer service representative called and took down some information and arranged technicians for checking.
11am+ Panasonic technicians came and had the unit checked. They found that the fire was because of installer didn’t follow the regulation and procedures that are requested by Panasonic. The technicians said they will head to the shop where I bought the air-con and will ask that shop to give us a call. The technician said they will ask the shop to solve the problem since it was installation faulty. Panasonic already told that using bi-connector are prohibited for the product and has warned that it may overheat and fire.
14pm+ My mother decided to give the shop a call since no call from the shop for hours and the shop is just located around walking distance of 450m from my house. The shop owner said will arrange their workers on 16pm something.
18:30 After 2 hours of waiting, the shop’s workers came to dismantle the indoor unit. During the time to dismantle the indoor unit, the worker (shop owner’s son) started to ask some questions.
Firstly, he said this air con seem like long time is no being serviced by them. We said we did asked other shop to service it. (Seem like he was looking this answer)
Then in a sudden, he started to raise his voice. He said we asked other people to service air con, now got problem then start to blame and complain them. We said we did ask other shop but we also did ask their shop to service. He said their workers will tighten the wire connectors during servicing. I said I have never seen any of tighten works and didn’t see any of wire connectors checking during servicing when his workers came to service the air con. (I presumed this was the second “attack” from him.) I also said their installation work is bad, for example: last week, my sister bought and had them to install a brand new air-con, second day already start water leaking. He pretended didn’t hear it.
Stop a while in silence, (maybe he was in thinking of new wave) He said some service contractor will take down the indoor unit during servicing. When they installed it, they might not tighten well the connectors. I said never had the indoor unit taken down during any servicing period. (Third wave?) Then he said he need to stop talking and need to help to dismantle the indoor unit. In my thought, their installation method is prohibited by Panasonic and the Panasonic technicians already confirmed it. After the dismantle work, he didn’t say much. He just said it should be done tomorrow and he took the indoor unit back for repairing.
13/04 In the evening, my mother gave the shop a call and asked how was it. The shop owner said doesn’t know and have no idea on it. She said it was handled by her son. She will call back tomorrow.
14/04 Noon, the shop owner’s son gave us a call. My mother asked me to return the call. On the phone, he requested to hack the wall to install new wire because he said the old wire is short. He said if not going to hack the wall, next time catch fire then don’t blame them. I said I’m not blaming them just the technician confirmed that they installed the air-con not meet the requirement and not according to Malaysia Electricity regulations 1994. He quickly turned to say Panasonic insisted to ask them to hack the wall to reinstall the wire because it is too short. I said I will call Panasonic about this. He then requested to have the air-con service because he said I didn’t have the air-con serviced. In reply to him, I said who said the air-con is not serviced for year. He said Panasonic technicians told him. I said how the hell the technician knew that? Then he said I told the technicians. I said I didn’t say like that. Later he said I told him that. I said I didn’t. Then he said again, my mother told him that the air-con is not serviced for years. I scold him, how can he purposely to make up things on what we didn’t say. Furthermore, not only his shop is the only one provides air-con service, we can ask other shop to service as long as it is Panasonic authorized service contractors. Then he said we this kind of people are so stubborn. I said what kind of people and what does he mean this kind of people is so stubborn? He asked me to listen to he say, don’t be stubborn. I just hung the phone up. After ten minutes, my sister called. She asked my mother what is happened. My sister said the owner’s son called her. The owner’s son said I hung the phone and I confirmed with the owner’s son that the air-con was not serviced for years; this is because if we wanted to service also will just look for him. I feel like really respect to some people. He told my sister that he will come over to install the indoor unit
Update
14/04 4pm+ The shop owner's son called and said will send back the fixed indoor unit but is not going to install it for me. This is because I have complaint to Panasonic and Panasonic had called to scold them.
Evening time, the shop owner's son called and said tomorrow morning will install for me.
15/04 At this moment, I also don't know how many time he needs to turn and turn. If he comes to install, I think I better have some device to record on what he says.
Changed to come over at noon, but whole day no showed. Called but not picked up.
16/05 The shop sent the workers around 7pm, brought a letter for us to sign. the letter indicated they will not responsible to anything happened to the installed air-con since we don't want to hack the wall. (This is what I don't want because if hack the wall and redo all the wiring work, it will need to take down the whole plaster ceiling. Got baby in house, it is not suitable to do renovation. Further more, as Panasonic technicians said, just put socket before the air-con will solve the problem.) I said I can sign the letter, but they also need to sign a letter for me. A letter that I have prepared in advance. In the letter, it was written that they will not have any responsibility to this air-con since I don't want to hack the wall but they will have responsibility to other air-con which were installed by them. As I think this is fair and just solve the problem. The worker "stone" awhile and said will tell the boss and will let us know on Monday. The indoor unit is still with them.
Today is Tuesday. . . . . . Really fed up already, I will arrange to get a new air con this afternoon. Thanks Hup Fatt Hing, Damansara Jaya for this kind services.
