I noticed that there is no Multi-Window available in this non rooted rom. (during with previous rom with root, i enjoy this multi-window thingy)
So i done some research and manage to get it working on my Honor 7.

Anyone who wish to enable the Multi-Window, can follow my guide line.

Yup. I use it just now. Working fine. Although don't have all rooted features, but it still able to remove some google ads

If you are coming from Pure Rom, you need to change to Stock Recovery first, in order to use the Stock Rom. It will not work if you are still on TWRP recovery.
There are few ways to get stock ROM. I created the user manual for your reference. This works for me.

* By using this method, you can be in any different Stock Rom country, whichever you interested the most. I prefer Euro, because.. Huawei seems provide fastest update to that country, followed by others for next few months.

PLK-L01C432B390 is from Euro version
PLK-L01C636B371 is from Malaysia version

1. no bugs signal issue. all good. i'm not experiencing the same
2. eye comfort working fine as per schedule. (who use with schedule anyway? so i tested and works)
3. share my experience so far? erm, i am adapting to live with non-root phone (for a while) - overall, battery is good, i can use maybank2u app again with finger print, seems pretty much okay.

Theoretically it can be root by using SRK Tool Huawei or Multi-Tool.
My phone is already on TWRP for the recovery. Just a purpose to have Dolby Atmos & You Tube with no ad.
Reason for me not rooting yet, coz maybank2u app doesn't allow any rooted phone to run.

You can root the phone anyway.

There is no harm by downloading it manually.

Anyway, I an tempting to change to TL00C01B388 (Chinese stock latest ver)
Someone in XDA said the Twin App (clone app) is alrd build-in.
See if I really got nothing to do - then i will flash it

Need to flash the zip file via TWRP for the installation.
After reboot - go to Dolby Atmos program - choose your preference
Movie, Music, Game Voice or Custom1

This is super loud. Even louder than Viper4xFX (last time i use this viper4x)

After the first installation - took me a while coz Huawei block Google Play Service. So, the initial setup doesn't have it. Need to install separately.
A lot of features that EU & MY don't have.

After couple hours analyzing this rom, it feels a lil bit weird.
It is fast with great features and all stuff.. but the most disappointing part is about the protected app + permission manager. Although I enable all app to be protected, set auto launch = it will still close when you do a 'clear' all app from your home screen.
But Whatsapp and other messaging system will still work. I don't understand why (or how).

That being said, I'm on my way to try out Malaysian rom

ya, about that - i don't know where they host it. and i tested with few phone numbers from my fren's which is not in my contact. it doesn't work. (or it would have a workaround if i can read mandarin) some of the build-in app are still in mandarin character. (even after changing to english)
i prefer to use Truecaller for the number identification

Take the phone back please.
And don't give up.

It can be for your testing purpose. You can try to change the rom to Lineage OS or CM13 or any other ROM.
Who knows, magic can happen anytime

I am now on B130 Lollipop.

The problem after comparing those both earliest instruction doesn't work because they left out that we need to put the original update.app into dload folder.
instead, they ask you to put into the root directory. also, they instructed you to delete the dload folder.
what a mess!

You are very lucky coz i just roll back from MM.

You should be automatically getting the notification upgrade to B340 by now.
(Which you need it for the jump platform major upgrade to MM)
Keep on tapping, reboot, power and make sure you are connected to your wireless connection.
Once that part done, you need to upgrade to the latest B371 (you can find the link at the 1st page) or use Huawei firmware finder.

Due to my itchy - mitchy hand, i did a roleback to lollipop malaysia. then move to lollipop china. Then I force update to Marshmallow Malaysia. Then force update to Marshmallow China (388)
I don't know what happen, but my phone now showing Malaysia rom B371 with China rom features
which is good also (yeah, i did wipe everything + force 3 button update + even flash via fastboot)
I got a build-in call recorder + twin app function + dual window gesture by default without edit build.prop) + stock phone.
so, life goes on..

Follow the steps I mentioned earlier and you should be good to go.

I think it's just you. I do not see other people having issue with the indicator. Can you try to off your data, and turn it back on again? just to test it out. If still not working, i recommend you to do a factory reset. (yes, you need to backup you files to somewhere else first.)

About changes, actually there are few.
1. Eye comfort (its too obvious for everyone to noticing it.
2. Security patch level is now on the latest March 1, 2017 (this is really important)

It will be much more easy. all you need is to do is

edit the build.prop using root browser. (or anything that you familiar to edit a file)

Open up build.prop ( located in your /system/build.prop )
1. find and change
ro.build.type=userdebug

2. find and change to become
ro.huawei.multiwindow=true

Save the file. Reboot.

3. Go to the Developer options
Scroll down to the bottom of the "Drawing" category
Enable multi-window

Then, download that HwMwLauncher.apk - install - reboot.

Now in Settings > Smart assistance > Motion control there is Dual Windows Gesture option
