I think RM5 is the minimum for all bills payment via OCBC Online Banking, tried Maxis and TNB, unless it's JomPay where RM1 might be possibleThis post has been edited by Sumofwhich: Dec 27 2017, 10:04 PM

QUOTE(LostAndFound @ Oct 4 2018, 04:55 PM) Can someone verify a few things:- Interest credit which is debited earlier should be the 0.5%, 1. Does the date you fulfil the conditions matter? 2. The transaction "INTEREST CREDIT" on the last day of the month, does that include the bonus interest? My scenario (new OCBC 360 account) looks like this:- 28-Sep Deposit 500.00 28-Sep Deposit 6300.00 28-Sep IBG out -1.00 28-Sep IBG out -1.00 28-Sep IBG out -1.00 28-Sep charged for Debit card -8.00 30-Sep Deposit 3702.90 30-Sep Interest Credit 0.33 I've been trying to figure out how the 0.33 comes about. As I understand it the daily average interest would be 452.60, which would give (assuming 0.5% interest) RM0.186 per day, or RM0.372 for the two days 28/29 Sep. Also at the very least should be getting the 1.2% bonus from depositing 500 ringgit minimum (as well as 1.2% from the IBG)? whereas the (1-3x) 1.2% will be 2 days later. And it matters when your posting date takes place, if it gets posted in the following month, it's counted for following month's interest This post has been edited by Sumofwhich: Oct 5 2018, 09:57 AM |

QUOTE(LostAndFound @ Oct 5 2018, 10:41 AM) Posting date is for CC transactions not bank transfers right? I always use instant transfer since its free, understand that IBG will only count the following day. Yes correct, did they not include the 3x bank transfers (1.2%) on Oct 2nd?Could it be because it's a new account hence not counted last month? Prolly need to ask CS |

QUOTE(graphidz @ Dec 17 2018, 06:25 PM) Is there a special procedure opening an account with OCBC? Went to their Puchong branch to open a savings account but they denied because I live in Cheras and wanted to see my tenancy agreement. I went to Puchong one because I stay at Cyberjaya on weekdays for study and work. I did show my IC but it was my hometown address in Sarawak. or present your university/work letter so you can sign up in Puchong, Will try again on Saturday at another branch see if still got issue or not. But just want to be sure if I really need this document next time but better to go to Cheras with documents mentioned above |

QUOTE(graphidz @ Dec 21 2018, 10:14 PM) I do have some questions. Is the method of transferring money 3 times still work? I'd assume to the same account will count as one time as per T&C. Extra question, anybody tried to transfer money to CIMB and CIMB KWIK? Does that consider as one or two transfers? My OCBC 360 is my main account and I have alot of saving accounts with minimal balance RM20, RM1 etc. Then paying for bills, some said that splitting one bill to 3 helps fulfill the 3 bills criteria. Did you guys mean the same bill split into 3? Like pay TNB 3 times? I thought that would consider as one time because same receiver just like the account one I would normally perform instant transfers to savings account or to credit cards, each transfer to a unique account would count as 1 I believe. Not sure about non-unique bills, 3 times can be either transfers/pay bills/pay credit cards. RM500 spending is another different category for additional 1.2% |

QUOTE(vrek @ Feb 27 2019, 10:45 PM) OCBC recently introduced the SoftToken. I'm using existing favourite accounts, so no code required. Only occasion where I use the SoftToken is during login. Only tried on appThe "OTP" in the soft token works fine, but when I try to do fund transfer, the challenge code / "Transaction code" crashes. So I'm unable to transfer fund via the OCBC website. Anyone having problem with "Transaction code"? |

Since the Titanium thread is closed, may I know if I am allowed to pay Statement amount less Unbilled rebated amount?
Or do I need to pay the statement amount and rebated amount won't count as payment (like CIMB credit cards)? Thanks |
