9.30 is still considered paying on 4th.
if 9.45, it is considered 5th. you will be charged late payment.

late payment charges will appear on your next statement.

Just try your luck, to request for the reversal of the late payment changes.

Send an e-mail to the bank, cc the e-mail to Bank Negara Malaysia, and also attach the Bank Negara documentation in the same e-mail.

However, next time, try to pay your statement balance, on the payment due date or earlier.

We may not be lucky all the time.

yes, my friend got it waived for both late payment charge and interest fee. however, interest fee is subject to approval. so must keep close tracking. my friend didn't get waived at first, and was over the payment date and didn't pay that.

she got charged second round of interest fee due to that.
I would recommend not. they are now practising like SCB, no means no. so, better be safe than sorry...

for the 9.45pm cut off, you can see it when you log in web and at transfer page.

Bnm called my dad (i dunno why they linked my email address to my dad's name. I checked my gmail sent email, it's my name and email).

Anyway, bnm emailed me a reply and ocbc will have an official reply in 14 days. Bnm will check and reply accordingly if necessary.
