QUOTE(zenquix @ Jan 23 2020, 02:09 PM) make sure your debit card has set this account as Fast Cash. I didn't apply for any debit card, already have ocbc titanium CC. Didn't know much about this account and was nearby the bank.i was in the same boat last month, opened account on 30 Dec... but still got all 3 bonus interest (deposit, bills, spend) for that month (all done on the same 30 Dec) ~even though my debit card transaction only posted on Jan 1. |

QUOTE(avinlim @ Jan 13 2020, 05:31 PM) Yes, cc payment, instant transfer to SA/CA, duitnow, all counted as eligible transaction as bill payment. *Note: Providing not multiple payment to same acc no that consider as 1 payment only. So if it is confirmed that instant transfer to SA/CA , duitnow, all counted as eligible transaction as bill payment then it is easy lah.My intention for this ocbc360 account is to aggregate all the funds from BP/Boost/GP/ASx at the begining of the month then use them to pay off CC bill at the end of the month and earning interest along the way. |

QUOTE(ProxMatoR @ Feb 4 2020, 12:10 AM) 9.30 is still considered paying on 4th. Thanks.if 9.45, it is considered 5th. you will be charged late payment. If I IBFT FROM ocbc360 after 9.45pm to PBB will it be transfered immediately? After this IBFT, the Interest for the day will still be based on balance b4 9.45pm? |

QUOTE(cucikaki @ Feb 4 2020, 08:21 PM) The interest will be charged on the statement date of ur next cycle. You paid after 9.45pm on the due date too?A few months back - i though no problem also, until i receive statement. I call to req 4 times, until i put in writing and say will forward from Bank Negara if not reversed, then they reversed, call me say on goodwill basis. Bla3 "the statement date of ur next cycle" mean the next statement dated after the due date of 1Feb (~11Feb or 11March)? |

QUOTE(kart @ Feb 5 2020, 07:49 AM) MGM Wonder anyone who were in this situation and managed to use this fact to reverse charges due to CC late payment?Normally, the rules by Bank Negara Malaysia shall precede over the rules by any banks in Malaysia. In layman terms, if Bank Negara says ok to give a grace period of at least 4 calendar days after the payment due date, all banks in Malaysia have to follow the rules set by Bank Negara, and give a grace period of at least 4 calendar days after the payment due date. Then again, the banks in Malaysia take advantage of the fact that Malaysians credit card holders are not aware of the rules set by Bank Negara Malaysia, and sets certain rules that violates the rules set by Bank Negara Malaysia. This is to maximise the profit gained by the banks in Malaysia. We need to be more aware of the ultimate rules which is set by Bank Negara Malaysia, and understand our own consumer rights. Otherwise, the banks will always put us customers in disadvantageous position. |

QUOTE(LostAndFound @ Feb 7 2020, 11:06 AM) Why not both? I'm already planning to move money to SC Privilege Savers, but what we're complaining about is January amount (and possibly till Feb 19). This is money you can't throw to other fish in the sea unless you got time machine. But SCB doesnt update the IBFT/IBG immediately right? Or is it only for creditcard? If you're saying the amount not worth the time then you got a point la. If you're saying just go for something else, that would only make sense if you say it last month not now. This post has been edited by MGM: Feb 7 2020, 11:22 AM |

QUOTE(cucikaki @ Feb 7 2020, 11:22 AM) Immediate if u transfer outside. Just that when u pay SCB own CC from SCB account, it could screw u over coz sometimes it’s not instant. No idea why. When u pay it increase ur CL, but tomorrow u check u’re back with ur old CL, the day after baru it is reflected again. So to be save, transfer to other bank, then other bank transfer to SCB CC. Like that no problem I tot other bank transfer to SCB CC is the one giving such problem. |

QUOTE(cucikaki @ Feb 7 2020, 12:42 PM) Because my CL only RM10k, so actually not for the due date payment but it’s for the cashback drift campaign, im paying my CC on daily basis RM700 per day to make room for me to get my Ford Mustang. So I need to have an immediate update on my CL. So it is OK to pay on a due date which falls on a weekend? |
