Hi. I'm new to bt. Bt means you transfer your credit limit in your cc to another cc am I right to pay the outstanding amount. So the cc that done transfer credit limit will no longer can use since the credit limit already transferred to another cc.
Officially, transfer outstanding balance of one credit card to another credit card.
Eg.:
Let says you have CIMB card with RM1000 outstanding, then you saw there is 0% balance transfer without 0% free from Maybank, so if you think this is good, you go to apply from 1 CIMB to Maybank
If all okay, Maybank will be post payment RM100 to your CIMB card, then now your CIMB card is 0 outstanding, and your Maybank will divide the RM1000 to the monthly installment,
Before:
Credit Limit in CIMB eg. RM5000, available credit: RM4000, outstanding RM1000
Credit Limit in Maybank eg. RM5000, available credit: RM5000, outstanding 0
After:
Credit Limit in CIMB eg. RM5000, available credit: RM5000, outstanding 0
Credit Limit in Maybank eg. RM5000, available credit: RM4000
Please do always read the term and conditions.
