Not sifu, but if this is Public Bank, then max BT is 80% of your credit limit. So you have to looky see how much in the All Cards Balance belong to BT. So to answer your question, 80% x 50k = 40k you can BT.
*
Actually mine exceed 80% already XD

However they still approved

Yeah, I've read someone (maybe it was you) saying that he got it above 80%. Well, official figure is 80%. Anything more than that is bonus.

You can actually do a BT from Maybank to CIMB lazada prepaid debit card and withdraw that from CIMB ATM. No fee for this card at all

So no need to apply for another credit card

Wait what ? How O.o

Been long time no visit BT cause all my cards are installment slave puke.gif

Steps
1. Go to cimb website apply for their cimb lazada prepaid mastercard
2. Wait for card to be sent to u
3. Do BT from MBB as MBB only sees this card starts with 5 so they dont know its a debit card
4. Once funds in go to cimb ATM and withdraw the cash with no charge
Note - at anytime ur cimb debit card can only hold max 5k

Ive done it may times before when MBB had zero % BT. No issue at all. Only thing is can do max like 4.8 or 4.9k each time to keep it below the 5k cimb limit

Hope this helps
*
Lol.. thanks for the step.

I still hold this card so this might be another option for me biggrin.gif

if u calculate effective interest rate, PBB 1% for 6 months is a good deal also.
*

House just need extra appliance T___T

Checked MBB 24 months BT equal to 4.5% p.a. sigh ..

Secured loan is very much cheaper, eg you get a O/D or reschedule/reinstate your home loan or request for additional loan amount. Balance Transfer and Personal Loan are not good due to short repayment period and high interest rate.
*
Just being informed by forumer that PBB can turn into 0% 12m flexi loan, so i go for that now biggrin.gif

Haha

I received a call from Alliance bank for 6 months 0% balance transfer w/o documentations.

Just need another bank account and fill up a form, that's all.

She said it's for new joiner 1st month benefit and monthly payment (for first 5 months) can pay minimum payment 5% of total amount and wont charge interest.

6th month must pay full remaining.

Applied wednesday, today saw incoming money from them d rclxms.gif

I saw some offer:

1st 12 month - 0%
Subsequent 12 month - 0.375%/month

If i do $24k BT, how is the 0.375% being calculated?
Based on $24k, $12k or remaining debt?
Thanks
*
Should be based on remaining amount and charge by 0.375% per month.

But 0.375% per month equals to 4.5% annually, hmm ..

I might be wrong though hmm.gif

Just to update, received an sms and my BT was approved!

Normally how long for it to take to transfer the said amount to my another credit card?

And does it come with a separate number to pay for the BT instalment?
*
I remembered quite fast.

And it will fall under your credit card

Bank A Bill RM2401.5,

Bank B Bill RM1505

Bank C Bill RM1400

can i fill in aeon bt form like 2400(Bank A)+1500 (B)+ 1100=5000 ?

Yes. Do note that if your credit limit is 5000 then your BT will be 80% of it
