20 Nov (Mon) - SMS informing fund transferred. Didnt get approval SMS. They doesnt process on weekends (18-19 Nov).
21 Nov (Tue) - Fund received in MBB card.

probably in coming week(s) to know. banks need min 22 days to inform any changes to T&C.

Maybank silently added a disclaimer for the BT 0% 12 months. earlier this wasnt stated at all.

i assume you mean "fund transferred in m2u" is the BT installment?

it will always be "dropped" into you mbb card on upcoming statement date.

Important Notes
The Campaign is valid till 31 March 2018 OR until the Promotional Balance Transfer Fund* has fully utilized (whichever is earlier).
The minimum credit card balance to be transferred from a third party bank to CIMB Bank per application per bank under this Campaign is RM1,000.00 and the maximum amount is capped at RM10,000.00 per cardholder.
The Campaign is open to all principal cardholders of CIMB Bank, who hold a CIMB Bank Credit Card for not more than 6 months from card approval date and who are also primary cardholders of credit cards issued by other banks and/or financial institutions licensed by Bank Negara Malaysia.
The Promotional Balance Transfer Fund under the Campaign is up to an allocated fund of RM8,000,000.00 during the Campaign Period. MBB doesnt know what is your outstanding amount from CIMB. M2U is not that all powerful and intelligent to link with ALL the banks to check each card's outstanding everytime someone initiate the Balance Transfer.

So, you're free to enter any amount that you like, as long as not exceeding the 80-90% of available credit from your MBB card.

The BT amount transferred to your MBB card is considered as PAYMENT. If you transfer > current outstanding, you'll get -ve (excess) amount in your CIMB card. upcoming expenses/statement will be slightly offset by the excess.

You basically tell MBB how much you want, they initiate the payment (on your behalf) to CIMB. that's all it is.
