Hi guys, I've just finished building my new rig with the following specs

CPU: C2D E6750 2.66Ghz
Mobo: Gigabyte P35 DS3
RAM: Crucial Ballistix 2Gb 800Mhz
GPU: NVIDIA 8800GTS 320Mb
HDD: 320Gb Seagate
PSU: Silverstone Strider 560watt
DVD/RW: LG H66N SATA

I have some minor problem with my PSU when my PC is not turned on. The PSU seems to have a very low hissing noise when the PC is not turned (psu plugged in and power switched on). The sound would eventually go away once I turn on the PC. Should I be concern with this and change with another unit since I still have 1 to 1 swap for the 1st week ?

Thank You

performance is so n so... but superb resistance and better priced compared to Magnum 225... for the 480W...
for the 600W it's double the power of magnum 300 and even weight also double... now finish stock d... if not i can show u... brows.gif
so far OC wif GA-P35-DS3 + Intel Pentium Dual Core E2160 OC to 333x9 Orthos 20hours still survive and we use them for CCTV PC also... on for 24 hours no problems for the past 6 months...
so it's quite durable comparing to other PSU of the same class and price... thumbup.gif

off the record... we will be distributing E-View products for High Speed in Klang area... wif their price... brows.gif

First of all, i will never say SilverStone is a not good brand and i will never say that, as i am silverstone products seller also.
And maybe u have to read my reply carefully, i am pointing to E-view power supply unit by the way. smile.gif

Haha still nothing beats my old trusty PSU which is working fine running my old Pentium MMX 200Mhz processor on 24/7.Using it for 9 years without fault.

I also got another cheap chapalang PSU running my Intel Celeron 1.0Ghz processor.Worked for 6 years straight without problem.Running 24/7 on OC

Sadly, the case is not the same with my Pentium 4 2.4Ghz.MOBO got fried because of chapalang PSU but luckily no other expensive components inside fails. But even then,I don't switch it on for 24/7.
