imho, qualiy of mobo plays an imporant role, with better capasitors and material built it will greatly reduce the power failure to the minimal. so ask yourself, did u spend a good RM500 on a branded PSU, but not even RM200 for a mobo?

About the voltage / watts fluactuation ... I am dunno why, before OCed, the MEC 450W have slightly voltage fluactuation, but after OCed, the voltage become stone, even no single change, ha ? Any electronic enginner can explain? I am gonna open that MEC cover and snap shot it for u guys to see what is that material build inside ... (transistor or capasitor things), er ... I will upload the movie about the voltage / watts fluactuation testing soon ...

Added on July 13, 2007, 10:35 amForgot to say, the Fortune Science (not Fortron brand) have burst after 3 days using it ... lucky mobo do not hurt ... The Fortune Science was come from JNC casing ... The 3rd day when I switch on the power, er, actually is my fren switch on 1, I think it burst because the earth of the extension malfunction (MAYBE), so as conclusion, not every facts come from PSU, please check whether ur Power Adapter , extension , plug socket (dunno call what), and also ur residental cable/wiring is serial or parallel type ... yes it do affect the current ...

anyone has experience with enlight power tank series? cycom have many units of them on display. but enlight is not cheap. price is almost comparable to acbel. that's why i'm curious about its performance.
IMO, enlight is way better than powerlogic.

im using silverstone 560w then my ram rosak my mobo(mahal one)hopefully x rosak..my other mobo(murah) oready rosak because i wanna test the psu...now im fobia which psu brand should i choose after this..any suggestion?because b4 dis i use cap ayam one never had this problem hoho

CPU: C2D E6750 2.66Ghz
Mobo: Gigabyte P35 DS3
RAM: Crucial Ballistix 2Gb 800Mhz
GPU: NVIDIA 8800GTS 320Mb
HDD: 320Gb Seagate
PSU: Silverstone Strider 560watt
DVD/RW: LG H66N SATA

I have some minor problem with my PSU when my PC is not turned on. The PSU seems to have a very low hissing noise when the PC is not turned (psu plugged in and power switched on). The sound would eventually go away once I turn on the PC. Should I be concern with this and change with another unit since I still have 1 to 1 swap for the 1st week ?
