At rm79, webe is still better than n as cheap as Maxis/Celcom/Digi/Umobile, cos apart fr unlimited calls n sms, its unlimited internet will be the winning factor. Coverage should be good as it will fall back on Celcom for 3G.
Only thing holding me back is that it might not support OTP/TAC for ebanking/ecommerce.
Hope that Webe will support more devices like tablet/netbook/laptop in the future.
*
OTP,TAC is sms, which is a service in 3g, not for 4G. But webe uses celcom 3g, so they need to integrate with celcom if these are to be made possible.

such so many issues for consumers to be a webe subscriber when they "promised" about "easy" and "good experiences" for us....

Webe support more device? Are you telling a joke? It's the other way round bro, devices need to support band 5 and band 40(when webe eventually launch it later) to access their network. They can't just magically force a phone without band 5/40 support to connect to their network.
*
Are you serious bro? If you cant connect to their LTE network you can still connect to Celcom's 3G network as they already signed the contract so that whenever th users are not in Webe's LTE coverage they can still use back Celcom's 3G.

What's the point of connecting to 3G while paying a higher price.

Oh MY! Do more revision before you post this. What a shame. If like this then I think you should subscribe YES as they only has 4G. And a week later you will know why 3G is so important. Kamu akan giler ke jika takde 4G?

My whole point is why bother to use webe while paying 60 extra and only able to connect 3G. Only people not in their right mind would. Why bother with 3G when VoLTE is readily available. 3G is less efficient than 4G

In Malaysia, only YES is VoLTE ready. Others will still fall back to 3G. You pay 6p extra is because they have to pay to Celcom too if you use their 3G.

Yes. You still can use their service but you dont have the RM60 discount only. So it is RM139/mth for unlimited data, call and sms.

Not sure. But I think those users can check their coverage only. Anyhow, their LTE is using frequency 850MHz, which has the best wall penetration and widest coverage area. It should be able to cover klang valley areas.

True, 4G is faster and more efficient. But at this point, 3G has better coverage, especially indoor.

That is why webe has partnered with Celcom because webe doesn't have a nationwide network yet, Celcom does.

But Webe's LTE frequency is 850Mhz. It is good for coverage and penetrating walls but it isnt that great if you are those type who needs more bandwidth.

LTE band 5 850mhz has better indoor.coverage than 3G band 1 (2100 MHz)
webe without celcom become another tmgo because TM LTE is pure data no voice/sms support.
i think nothing to do with nationwide coverage. Unlimited data plus unlimited voice will kill both tm and celcom network. webe partnered with Celcom because Celcom signed HSBB agreement with Telekom Malaysia. biggrin.gif

Yeah, I MNP from celcom to webe. 4g in my office is fantastic. Last time celcom also on off.

And TAC is not a problem. Done mobile banking several times. But you need to tell their customer service and restart your phone once. I think they need to activate frm their side i guess.
