Not trying to protect or anything..
Lets say for U Mobile, Celcom & Maxis.. for a 10 min call in Singapore to Malaysia & use 50MB of data
Also bear in mind that Umobile & Celcom charge for receiving calls per min. Maxis doesn't.
Nonetheless, do survey & check out all the available package n find which suits you.. Don't ever change plan or accept plans over the phone or just listen to a sale person which tries to push you any product. Take your time to understand what you are getting yourself into by checking websites, printed materials & so forth
Celcom https://www.celcom.com.my/personal/plans/in...d=1360826523383RM 3.30 per min = RM 33.00
Unlimited internet per day = RM 38
U mobile http://www.u.com.my/international-roaming/roaming-overseasRM 2.50 per min = RM 25.00
50MB free per day (if exceed, RM 30 max a day)
Maxis http://www.maxis.com.my/en/personal/servic...g/oneworld.htmlUnlimited min = RM 38
1st 500MB free (No data how much it'll cost if more)
Digi http://new.digi.com.my/roaming/internation...untry=SingaporeRm 2.80 per min = RM 28
50MB = RM 10 (Roam10 - Unlimited Social Messaging + 50MB) Unlimited RM 36.00 /country/day
Another note in the FAQ

What do I see a charge of RM10 & RM28 in my bill instead of RM38?For minimal usage of up to 2 calls or 2 SMS or less than 256kb data, charges will be at RM10
Subsequent usages and upon reaching the usage threshold of 3 calls or 3 SMS or 256kb data, charges will be at RM28
In total, you only pay a maximum of RM38/dayWhat if I finish 500MB MaxisONE World pass quota?
You will receive an SMS notification when you’ve reached 100% usage of your 500MB high-speed data quota. Subsequently, your usage will be drawn from domestic data quota with no additional cost.tq for the analysis~
i oso admit it was a good idea while u REALLY NEED it and switch on by user their own
like tis trap ppl too sneaky la~
auto ON while u do use tat line no matter receive call or make call out or sent sms;
even though u
DID NOT switched data roaming ON...
somemore cannot stop service until come back m'sia
wat if ppl go traveling 1 wk?
at least giv ppl option to stop tat svc ma~
CELCOM seems to copy tis trap as well @ once start cannot stop half way until u come back m'sia
but at least got option for user to decide to use or not
DIGI & UMOBILE seems charge per call/sms and max @ rmXXX
if i'm not misunderstanding...
or maybe somebody tell me i get maxis wronged bcoz
actually the svc says maxis was charging by rm???/calls & MAX/day is rm38??
and i missed the method teach how to stop the svc as well?
