I have never gotten any outages with time b4 except for a fried dlink. Their service is always reliable for me including p2p and can always get full 100mbps even during peak hours. As one of the apartments which were early adopters of time, they even gave 2 x 20mbps business fibre for free to the management to operate as free wifi.

Maxis business plans really good, comes with free backup 4g sim (300gb/mth), better contention ration and sla, for only +rm10/mth

Existing customer can subscribe without termination upon contract end. Existing customer can register interest first to lock in promotion price.

I prefer lower price tho. The agent let me do that, now my price will be reduced from rm149 to rm129 with new router for time (100mbps).
Anyway gobind said by year end will have further 25% rebate cos of MSAP.
Actually i think time wants to increase their number of subscribers as that will have a bigger effect for their total revenue. Even maxis, an even smaller player is willing to have rm89 plan just to get more customer even tho it reduces their arpu.
Only big monopoly like tm care so much about their arpu, good luck to them in their 'customer retention'..
They try to retain customer by offering upsell rm10 and stuff for faster speed, lock them into 24mth contract. Yet they trying to increase their arpu with this and rm30 hypptv. You cant have a cake and eat it lol..

I heard the time manager for penang actually lent his personal router to my relative for his house until he recontracts lol.. dlink too shit he gave this

He even came down to install..... waa time gd customer svc, but corporate policy sucks!!

I agree on this. The dlink trashcan range is too poor alr, gave time a bad reputation in some areas. So they have to recommend router optimal location etc and warn customer first..

Just that hardly anyone subscribes to it lol. Hard to find any real use for it other than server... and need mikrotik with link aggregation unless the isp decidesnto replace the onu with one that has a 10gbps port...

Max speed is 2.4gbps due to gpon limitation. Above that require xgpon which require new olt, cannot coexist with existing gpon infra. So it wont happen.

Maybe im the same. Currently my new price not in effect yet but now im 500mbps already (old router)... im also old customer, they agree to reduce my price next month onwards with contract extension

It could be because im considered a 'semi-grandfathered' account holder cos last time my rm129 was under astro-time package, then when i switched to time i had to pay rm149 for 100mbps....

U will get time free speed upgrade instead of reduced fee. Rm129 is for old customers or through selected agents only
