Those who already on TIME Fiber before the massive speed upgrade will remain the same monthly commitment fee.

For example, before free speed upgrade, 10Mbps package is RM 129, so after free upgrade to 100Mbps, the fee remains the same.

New user will follow new pricing.

I've been unifi customer for almost 6 years, i was not given loyalty upgrade like this for being loyal customer. Instead i was told that i need to pay more for upgrade and tied with another 2 years contract. I tried to customize their package, by removing some of the IPTV package to reduce the monthly fee, but they replied sorry, we still need pay that amount.

Oh well, though TIME is without IPTV, i just hook up my PC to the TV and just use Hypptv everywhere. And with Kodi, i can just watch anything i want.

Hi,

You may/may not be experiencing a direct effect as your current International routing may not be passing through the new FASTER route.
*
hi jjj2, means currently we yet to utilize this route. How about in future? Will all Time user be using this route?

Well, maybe this routing issue could be the one causing stream buffering when i watch some movies. Buffering alot now though it just in 480p/360p(Not even HD). I never had this problem before.

Those services having regional host in Singapore/HK shouldnt be a problem. But streaming movies from US, EU sites like novamov, vidzi we're having problem here. Never had these problem before.

Hello there, regarding firmware update, the firmware is available on the software update page inside the router setting, or we need to manually download from your website?.

Please clarify.

Thanks

I tried to upgrade the firmware for DIR 850L. It wasn't really pleasant. Upgrade 2.08 was straight forward but when try upgrade to 2.10, i was directed to recovery mode after reboot. Was sweating if i need to buy new Router. I tried to reupload 2.08 and 2.10 few time, it didn't work. Lastly, Upload Success page displayed on 2.08 firmware. Scared problem will happen again, but proceed anyway with risk. That went on without issue.

This is my personal experience. Can't say all will face this same. For expert i think shouldn't be a problem. But normal users, just have some expert around with you.

I called time, they say my router DIR 850 will not support 500 mbps speed, so i purchase TP-Link Archer AC1200 from Lazada. Can someone let me know if i made the correct decision. Not expecting blazing speed but can i get at least 300 mbps wifi speed??
