Speedtest at Bukit Jalil via on wireless AP Asus AC1300UHP via 5Ghz WiFi:
- iPhone 8+ DL 296mbps & UL 305mbps
- MacBook Air DL 498mbps & UL 471mbps

On main router TP-link Archer C1200 via 5Ghz WiFi:
- iPhone 8+ DL 242mbps & UL 220mbps
- MacBook Air DL 360mbps & UL 406mbps

Login to self care but still shows home broadband. So think speed is still not been upgraded from original 500mbps. Let’s say I want to fully utilize the 1Gbps speed, any good router to recommend? Do I need to replace both stock and Asus AP? Hope someone cam assists as I get the Asus from forum member recommendation and it works really well.

Received an email saying my 500mbps got upgraded to 1Gbps which I signed up on June 2018. Seems like I m not eligible for the free router DIR-882 as less than 12months? I see some ppl here have the option to get the DIR-882? Hmm. So currently this 882 is the best on the market for 1gbps? All my devices are connect via WiFi so is it advisable to get this? As I just got the Asus AC1300UHP a month or two ago for replacing the C1200 😢
