mine was installed without any drilling, it was held against the lower part of the wall with a holder.

it travels from outside ceiling of the unit and into the apartment from the top then travels down, travels along the wall on the bottom part.

How do they secure the cable in place on the ceiling?

Just one small hole in my store room so the cable can connect to the modem.

Hi Nymi, did you manage to get your TP-link router to work with TIME ?

I bought a TP-Link P5 （AC1900) router and wanted to use it for TIME fibre too instead of the D-link DIR-850L router, however after i entered the PPPoE username and password to the TP-link P5 and connect  the modem to it, not able to connect to the internet. (Even tried reboot the modem and tp link router).

When i connect the modem cable back to the D-link DIR-850L router, the internet works.

Guys, did i miss some setting somewhere in the TP-link router ?  :confused:

Yes i double checked on the PPPoE ID and password and they are correct.

coz if run speedtest on pc only get 5X mbps if use phone with AC capability 100mbps..

Yes, I understand that. Don't use extensions or power strips at home, all points straight to the wall socket. Even side by side, I get 330Mbps on the TP-Link utility, and 200Mbps via internet speedtest.

Yes the cable on my modem is on LAN 1. I didnt remove the cable from modem, only unplug it from D-link DIR-850L router and plug in to tp-link router.

Yes I copied the same PPPoE ID (XXX@timebb) and password (XXXXXX) from d-link router to tp-link as well... but it just doesnt connect to the internet..  :confused:

The best thing for Time is using full fibre. so future upgrade is possible. Unlike unifi that used vdsl2 will stuck at 30mbps.

i follow klseet setting..restart router few time cant get it work and DIR850L really cacat..
once u chg setting on IPV6 or IPV4 once they reboot and it hang there for browser end up i have to turn off and turn on the router..

U mean speed wise?
